La casa dei Baert Baron con il suo bel rosso mattone VeneKlasen è stato costruito dal Dr. Daniel Baert nel 1872. Veramente questo è un classico esempio della rara design francese in stile italiano del secolo XIX in Western Michigan. Bella diciannove su ordinazione in stile romanico ad arco smussato finestre di vetro al piombo importato da Parigi, Francia aggiunti nel 1880 con grazia si aggiungono al fascino della villa. Un magnifico avvolgente portico dà la Mansion una sensazione di calore e di grazia come ospiti guardare la meravigliosa fontana bagno uccello posto sul lato nord del parco oltre 139 anni fa. La casa ha più di 4000 piedi quadrati di spazio vitale che ha volumi di storie sepolte che sono nascosti all'interno delle sue mura. Squisito originale d'epoca finestre piombate vetrate e pavimenti in legno duro il benvenuto all'entrata attraverso le due porte in rovere massiccio, che hanno resistito alla prova del tempo.

The Baert Baron Mansion is the most beautiful Bed and Breakfast we have visited. Vic and Anna are gracious hosts who did everything possible to make our stay special. This historical home is truly a treasure trove. The living room and dining room are amazing examples of rooms furnished with authentic period furniture. Vic and Anna have been collecting Victorian pieces for many years and share this furniture with their guests. All the guest rooms are elegant, tastefully decorated with period furniture, and the whole place is very clean! We sat out on the wrap-around porch in wicker chairs sipping lavender lemonade and enjoying Anna’s carrot cake after our arrival. If you are looking for a B & B that is quiet, peaceful, and elegant with some of the kindest people I have ever met as hosts, this is the place to go! The breakfast was delicious! There are little surprise treats in the guest room upon arrival. Vic and Anna seem to know how to make one’s visit a serendipity around every corner! I have sent the link of their B & B to all my friends and relatives since this is, in my opinion, one of the best-kept secrets in the state of Michigan.

My husband Vincent and I just stayed at Vic and Anna's beautiful Inn.It more than met our expectations. They were very warm, friendly and made us feel like family. The house is gorgeous,spotless and the food was awesome. We will definitely be going back..soon.

The Baert-Baron Mansion is one of my favorite places on earth. Vic and Anna are such delightful hosts, and they make you feel like old friends within two minutes of meeting them. Because of their hospitality and graciousness -- as well as the spectacular beauty of the mansion itself -- I have chosen to hold several special events there. The food is amazing; the presentation is breathtaking; and the whole experience of beauty and joy at the Baert-Baron Mansion stays with you for weeks and months after you visit. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

The most outstanding aspect of this B&B is the southern hospitality and comfort food provided by the hosts Vic & Anna VanDeventer. What a wonderful B&B! I enjoyed my stay immensely and could not get enough of Anna's delicious cooking. Her brownies were a delight. The house is lovely and meticulously taken care of! I loved the beautiful rain shower in my room. Thank you for making my stay one I will remember!
