    Another Great Weekend!

    This was our 2nd time coming to the Huron House for our anniversary and the Moon Shadow met exceeded our expectations. The room was VERY clean, felt really relaxed and you can't beat the view of the Lake Huron. The hot tub was the cherry on top:) The staff is wonderful and are there to make your stay the best. We will be going back every year for our "getaway."

    Wonderful and Relaxing!!!

    My wife and I spent our honeymoon here the night of our wedding and stayed for 5 days/nights. We had a marvelous time and it was very peaceful and relaxing. The staff was very kind and willing to help us out in any way we needed it. They have homemade breakfast every morning and its always fresh and very satisfying. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Being so close to Lake Huron and hearing the waves roll in and watching the amazing sunrise every morning was so serene and made waking up early worth it so much more. I would recommend the Huron House to any couple wanting a peaceful and relaxing get away for even just one night as its the best place I know of to enjoy one on one time with that special someone in your life.

    We loved the Huron House!

    It was our first time there and my husband and I both loved it! We were in the Huron room and it was just beautiful. We had a wonderful, romantic and comfortable stay for 2 nights and we can't wait to go back! If you are looking for a romantic, private and beautiful place to spend time with your spouse then this is it! The view is amazing and the entire stay exceeded our expectations!     Great Getaway!

    We were celebrating our 10th anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was fantastic and the food was spectacular. The service was great - we couldn't find anything negative to say about the Huron House B&B. Even when we found something was broken and told them about it they fixed it the next day. They had some repair work they had to do below the room and offered a gift certificate to a restaurant as compensation. We would definitely come back again! -Ryan & Debra Clymer

    complete relaxation

    Visited the Huron House mainly to relax and just have some quiet time with my significant other. We stayed in the Oscoda room , which was very clean, comfortable, and well decorated. We had a beautiful view of the lake and a private deck , which was really nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly from the time I made the reservation on-line (Bev) to the time we checked out. Will definitely be returning in the near future. Very friendly town as well.

    Our 15th Anniversary Stay at the Huron House

    Our 15th anniversary was on April 4th 2013. My wife had no idea where I was taking her so she was very excited. The room was all ready when we arrived, and the manager was very nice. She informed what the Huron House had to offer and showed us where everything was before taking us to our room. She took us on a tour of our room, showed us where things were located, told us what was for breakfast, and even asked us when we would like to have it. We were also informed when the sun would be rising in the morning because our room overlooked the beautiful Lake Huron. The room was gorgeous. It had a king sized bed, Jacuzzi, champagne, and a deck overlooking the beach. We did go out for supper in Oscoda to celebrate out anniversary, but we couldn’t wait to get back to enjoy our room. When we returned from dinner we had some champagne and had a very romantic evening together. We woke up in time to see the sun rise over the lake and didn’t even have to get out of bed to see it. I just opened up the shades and got back under the covers and enjoyed the view. My wife and I have stayed at many B&B’s over the years and one of the best things about the Huron House was having out breakfast delivered to our room instead of having to go to a communal dining room. The breakfast was very delicious with fresh fruit, croissants, coffee, and orange juice. We absolutely loved it. When I say that the Huron House was the most beautiful and romantic place that we have ever stayed, I’m telling the truth. My wife and I had our best anniversary yet and definitely plan to return next year. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I would recommend the Huron House to anyone and have already done so to many of my friends and family. Thank you to the staff and owners for making our 15th anniversary unforgettable.     Amazing! We didn't want to leave!

    As always, we really enjoyed our stay. We have been here a couple of times before and we look forward to each future stay. The staff are always willing to help make our stay more wonderful and they really go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, and very romantic. We will never go anywhere else!

    Clean, large, beautiful room. The place is set up nicely for privacy. They bring breakfast to your room which we also liked.
