Blessings . . .by the beach

Candace and her family were wonderful hosts! Breakfasts were delicious and the evening happy hours on the porch were a great way to relax after a day on the beach or visiting local attractions. The access to the beach is an easy walk ½ block through a beautiful tree lined street. Candace has bikes, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and more. Made it very easy to enjoy Lake Michigan without wasting time dealing with rentals. Like the name says, this place is truly a blessing!

What a fabulous stay we had at Blessings by the Beach! Such a charming place in a beautiful location. Candace was an incredible host. She gave such attention to detail to make us feel special and welcome in her charming home. Our favorite spot was the gorgeous front porch. Perfect for hanging out and talking, reading or having breakfast. Such a treat to begin each day on the porch! We loved everything about Blessings by the beach...ESPECIALLY the owners!!

A friend and I were visiting the Frankfort area for a couple of days to do some hiking, and knew we wanted a stress-free place to relax at night after a day on the trails. Blessings by the Beach was just the thing we needed. A glass of wine on the beach or the front porch to wind down at night and INCREDIBLY tasty food to get us moving in the morning (and plenty of it)!

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Blessings by the Beach in Frankfort, MI! We booked the trip over a month ago, not knowing what the Michigan weather would do, and we totally lucked out and had a great weather weekend. But, even if it had been raining and cold, we still would have had a great stay. Candace and Paul have put so much work into this lovely home! It is bright and colorful, AND warm and cozy. The decor is perfectly beach and the accommodations are incredible. Everything is updated and modern, but it sill holds that great lake charm. We stayed in the Sanctuary and had absolutely everything we needed for a luxurious stay. We were so comfortable, we had trouble getting our things together and leaving on our last day. There was ample space, and the in-room refrigerator was a great extra. The location is perfect too! A quick walk to both the beach and downtown to shops and restaurants. It was ideal for the pace of the weekend we were looking for, which was low key. And, as if that all wasn't enough, the food was great too. Candace makes DELICIOUS zucchini muffins, and the hot options were great each day. This may sound like a fake review, but I promise, it is not. We felt so welcome and were able to kick back and relax, just like we wanted. Candace and Paul are great hosts! And, Kia the dog, is so sweet. We were blown away by our visit and will absolutely be visiting Blessings by the Beach again.

This place is serene and warm, welcoming and joyful. Candace is a special person with a nurturing spirit. We plan to return every year. The beach is such a bonus, as is the Labrador in residence, Kia. This was a rare find in the B&B world in which we prefer to stay.

Our first trip to Michigan....unbelievable. I've traveled in Europe and here in Michigan I saw a little bit of Italy and England. Through all my travels this might be the most beautiful area I have visited. Our host Candace, only added to the appeal of the area. We arrived right before sunset and she sent us to the beach equipped with beach chairs, white wine, and glasses. What a way to start our trip. This B&B is advertised as "not your mother"s bed and breakfast". It's not. My wife and I have stayed at all of those and this one trumps all. The location cannot be beat and the accomodations are top notch. We will definitely return to this location...annually!!!!!
