    Jo Spiller Room. At the end of the second floor hallway, with five windows and lovely views of the gardens and of the woods out back, this large room features the floral watercolors of Jo Spiller, a Camden artist. The room is decorated in rich tones of forest green and burgundy and has a queen mahogany four-poster bed, a highboy chest with desk, a comfortable wingback chair, and an oriental carpet. Private ensuite bathroom with shower. Air-conditioned. Complimentary Wi-Fi.
    Painted Lady features charming French 1920′s painted furniture and twin beds (available with king bed only if the Allen Room/Suite is unavailable). This room is light and airy, spacious, and very pretty; a gracious, charming, inviting room. There is a large window seat and also a comfortable wingback chair which makes a perfect place for enjoying a good book. Private bath ensuite with combination tub/shower. Air-conditioned. Complimentary Wi-Fi.
    Allen Room. This lovely room is the original master bedroom, beautifully decorated in deep, soothing colors. It has wonderful architectural details, a mahogany king sleigh bed, and an oriental carpet. Curl up in front of a fire in the old-fashioned-style gas stove or relax with a good book in the comfortable wingback chair. The private ensuite bathroom has a deep cast-iron tub/shower and soft, fluffy towels. The Allen Room easily becomes the Allen Suite by opening the door which connects the main guest room with a charming little sitting room. The second room can be used as a second bedroom for one additional guest. The sitting room has a comfortable sofa bed and big, old double-hung windows that look out on the neighborhood. Air-conditioned. Complimentary Wi-Fi.
    The Allen Sitting Room. Can be combined with the Allen Room and rented as the Allen Suite, accommodating up to 3 guests.
    Edna St. Vincent Millay Room. Named after a very famous local poet - and the first woman to win a Pulitzer Prize for poetry - this room is decorated in a soft yellow with greens and beiges. It offers a charming double canopy bed, a writing desk, and a wingback chair, plus a bit of Ms. Millay’s poetry, a garden view, and lots of sunshine. It is our smallest room but it is very sweet. A perfect place to cocoon with a good book or a good friend. Private bathroom with shower, ensuite. Air-conditioned. Complimentary Wi-Fi.

    Clean, charming, quiet, convenient

    I was traveling alone and chose the smallest room. It was great. I had two splendid nights of sleep. Bathroom was well equipped and in excellent condition. Room had its own thermostat, which is frequently not the case in these older inns. Location is excellent - easy walk to Camden waterfront, easy drive to other mid coast destinations. Highly recommended.

    Perfect in every way

    I don’t know what I can add to the glowing words already written about The Belmont Inn and Anita, the innkeeper, except to say that it is all true. Anita listened to our ideas then thoughtfully directed us to surrounding towns and parks and places to eat (all wonderful). My husband and I stayed four nights in Camden and ventured out each day. Camden is a lovely town and the perfect location for easy drives to Acadia National Park and other spots north and south. We enjoyed meeting other travelers each morning for a delicious breakfast and sharing stories but I really felt like I was leaving a friend when we had to tell Anita good-bye. We’ll definitely be back!

    Cannot go Wrong

    Located on a quiet streetwithin a couple of blocks to great eating, shopping and harbor views. Attractive, comfortable surroundings for a satisfying breakfast or glass of wine on the porch overlooking the beautiful garden. Personalized recommendations for sights, food and shopping. Central location to explore mid-coast-Arcadia regioon. Cannot take full advantage with only a one night stay.

    A Fine Find

    This Inn is in a pretty, quiet location, within 2 blocks of bustling downtown Camden, with excellent choices for pretty early morning walks. Inn Keeper Anita was helpful in locating places for fine and casual dining, sight-seeing and activities. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and charming, with private baths. Breakfast was hearty and tasty. A cup of coffee/tea on the porch overlooking the full flowering garden was the perfect way to begin our mornings.

    Delightful experience

    The experience from the start was a pleasure. You can book on line, communicate via email and Anita is by far the best hostess ensuring your comfort, providing concierge service and creating a charming environment. I stayed only one nite and was so disappointed when I left as I didn't experience enought of the inviting atmosphere Anita has created. My room was impeccably clean with attention to the smallest of details. The bed was super comfortable and the linens and towels were of lovely quality.

    Beautiful inn, lovely innkeeper

    We had a lovely stay at The Belmont Inn earlier this month. Anita is a most gracious hostess, making you feel as if you are a welcomed guest in her home, which in fact, you are. The inn is immaculately maintained and special amenities are scattered about for you to discover during your stay. There is a thoughtfully appointed boutique within the inn where you can pick up local items for souvenirs. Or, you can walk a short distance to the center of town where you will find several fun shops. Upon our arrival, Anita (the owner) spent about 20 minutes with us, answering our many questions such as where to find great lobster and where to go for a hike. After asking us some questions about our preferences, she recommended a nearby restaurant for dinner that we loved so much, we ate there both nights of our stay. What was interesting to me was that she sent other guests to other restaurants – demonstrating that she sought to please all of her guests, based on her assessment of their individual preferences. This went far beyond dinner recommendations. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The porch is a great spot to have a cocktail or your morning coffee. Breakfast was lovely both mornings of our stay.

    A gem in Camden

    We enjoyed our stay at the Belmont Inn in Camden. The inn itself is architecturally beautiful, tastefully decorated, and located within easy walking distance of the heart of Camden village and the harbor. Park your car in the inn's lot and forget about it! And our room (the Allen Suite) was comfortable and beautiful. It's available as a single room, but the modest extra charge to add the adjoining sitting room and make it a suite is well worth the price. Owner/innkeeper Anita Zeno is a warm and engaging hostess. Her breakfasts vary delightfully from standard fare and are carefully planned and expertly prepared. Anita makes sure you won't leave the inn hungry! We’ll be back. Highly recommended!

    Best B&B experience

    The Belmont Inn was such a warm, relaxing, and beautiful place to stay. It is so convenient to the town. Anita was so welcoming, and really took extra care and attention to make our stay memorable. Our room was perfect and comfortable. I wish I could take the porch with the garden, and those relaxing rocking chairs home with me!
