Atlantean, tra le più belle residenze storiche del Bar Harbor, fu sede di architetto Frederick Savage. A pochi passi dalla via principale, ancora in modo molto rimosso dal trambusto. Su una corsia tranquilla in mezzo a giardini sereni e prati, Atlantean del pubblico zone, al chiuso e fuori, sono spaziose e cortese. Bello, otto tranquille camere, da semplice a spaziose ed eleganti e accoglienti: tutti hanno bagno privato, naturalmente. Alcuni hanno camini, alcune vasche idromassaggio, anche una doccia a vapore di lusso. Brivido per colazioni vegetariano completo delizioso, creativa servite al vostro tempo libero nella nostra sala affascinante. Il ben rifornito Butler della dispensa è disponibile per ' bevande e spuntini 24 ore su 24.

This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast. Gary and Heidi made us feel so welcome and comfortable. I greatly appreciated their accomodations for my food allergies. My breakfast was wonderful. Their location is perfect for exploring the main street area.

We just returned from our weekend visit to the Atlantean Cottage in Bar Harbor. While there we stayed here at the Windwood Room. It was beautifully renovated with an amazing large bathroom and private porch. We were delighted to have breakfast that look like a page of "bon apetite" each morning. The hotel was very well located, near the center of town, including our favorite Italian restaurant less than 60 second walk away, but also pleasantly on a side street near the cliff walk. The gardens outside are lovely for afternoon tea. We also appreciate the small details that are so well thought of (like being able to have a well stocked pantry for midnight snacks.) Overall, we highly recommend the Atlantean!

We stayed at the Atlantean for two nights on our honeymoon in Maine, and it was a truly lovely experience. We stayed in the Edgemere Room & loved the fireplace & luxurious bathroom, complete with whirlpool & heated floor. The innkeepers, Heidi & Gary, were friendly & gracious, but never pushy. They’ve created an atmosphere that is extremely comfortable & hospitable, while still allowing guests privacy & independence. And although we’re not vegetarians, the Atlantean’s breakfasts were the best we encountered during our trip. Highly recommended, and we would love to return.

We were visiting Maine for our anniversary and stayed 2 nights at the Atlantean. Our room was very nice and the breakfasts were delicious. Heidi and Gary were very personable and helpful during our stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Wingwood is a beautiful, roomy and elegant ground-floor room with its own private porch! Freshly redecorated with luxurious and comfortable furnishings and bedding, gas fireplace and large, bright bath with a bubble-jet tub and separate shower. Wingwood is one of our most-loved rooms by regular returning guests!

The Atlantean exceeded our expectations! Believe me when I say that the pictures do not do it justice! The B&B was so beautiful, clean, and welcoming. My husband and I are both younger than the traditional B&B visitor (20s) and appreciate a more modern feel than most B&Bs offer in Maine. The Atlantean had the perfect mixture of modern decor and the traditional feel. We stayed in the Edgemere and were not disappointed! It was everything they say it is and more! It has even been updated since the picture that is on the website, because again, the pictures don't do this B&B justice! The bed was very comfortable and the fireplace created a cozy atmosphere. And finally, the bathroom in the Edgemere was top of the line: large, completely new, and very modern! Heidi and Gary were great too. They talked to us at breakfast and helped us plan our day. The breakfast is vegetarian, which made us a little nervous, but overall it was good. They also put snacks out in the afternoon. When we go back to Bar Harbor, we will definitely stay at the Atlantean Cottage B&B again!
