    Recentemente rinnovato, cucina nella parte più antica della casa (fine 1600) dove la prima colazione è preparata ogni giorno.

    Two night stay

    We stayed for two nightd and it was a wonderful time. The location was very nice and the room was also very nice. We had to leave early the last morning and I was hoping to be given some cereal or something but nothing was offered. This was the only letdown.

    A beautiful place to spend a weekend

    My husband and I recently spent a wonderful weekend at the 1830 Quince Tree House. We had a lovely time! When we first arrived, we were a little confused about which door to enter, but once we found our way inside, we were warmly greeted by Cecily and Richard, the friendly owners of the Inn. We got a tour of the common rooms, a detailed explanation of the coffee and tea service and were shown the guest refrigerator and laptop. The dining room and sitting room were nicely decorated, but not stuffy. It felt very homey, actually. Our suite was on the first floor and was very comfortable. There was a large sitting area with a fold out sofa, an armoire with a television and an entire wall of well stocked book cases. The bedroom was small, but charming, with a canopy bed and working fireplace. There was a standard bathroom off the bedroom, which had Egyptian cotton towels and spa bathrobes along with a lovely tray of soap, shampoo, bath gel and other necessities. Breakfast was delicious and very generous. It was three courses which started with a home baked muffin or scone. Next was a warm fruit dish. On the first morning we had grilled plums served with a dollop of vanilla yogurt. It was delicious. Next, the main course. I loved the herb and cheese omlet with English muffin and bacon. All of this was served with French roast coffee and orange or cranberry juice. We were utterly stuffed by the end of breakfast! Cecily is a very chatty and friendly hostess. When we got back from our dinner on Saturday, she joined us in the parlor for conversation while we enjoyed the complimentary after dinner Port. My husband and I have stayed in other B&Bs... some of which were more formally decorated... but we really liked the homey warm atmosphere of the 1830 Quince Tree House. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks Richard and Cecily for a great weekend. It was really a pleasure.

    Amato medico generico in sandwich, dottor Samuel Beale vissuto e praticato in questa casa dal 1914 fino al 1967, e questa suite di primo piano due camera servito come il suo ufficio e sala d'attesa. Il grande salotto ha una libreria incorporata, queen sized sofa bed, alati posteriore sedie e TV/DVD. Un breve corridoio conduce alla camera da letto con un camino di lavoro (una volta al forno cucina alveare), Regina letto a baldacchino con baldacchino di pizzo e sedia a dondolo.     La suite di Tobey è denominata per uno dei padri fondatori del sandwich e il proprietario originale della proprietà. La camera da letto fatto in un lussureggiante, profondo rosso, consiste di un letto matrimoniale, camino del lavoro e sedia a dondolo. c'è anche un mezzo bagno in camera. Il salotto adiacente dispone di un divano letto matrimoniale estraibile full size, ala posteriore sedia e TV/DVD. Incluso nella suite è un lussuoso bagno con vasca idromassaggio.
