    Black Walnut Point Inn si trova alla fine di Tilghman Island su 57 ettari di una riserva naturale lungomare.     Large and airy with five windows overlooking the point to the south, the west bulkhead and northern bird sanctuary. The Bay Room lives up to its name with sweeping views of sunsets over the Chesapeake. Accommodations include a queen bed, daybed and reading corner with two rocking chairs.

    The Talbot Room is sunken and has a cathedral ceiling, with two steps down and two steps up into the private bath. Two look-out windows overlook the point with a reading area underneath. An antique dresser and large hope chest provide plenty of room for luggage, with extra room to relax on the daybed by the large window under the front holly.

    At the top of our quirky staircase on the third floor, our hideaway is reminiscent of a boat cabin with built in chests either side of the chimney. One gable looks down the Bay to south, the other provides a bird's-eye view of the sanctuary and back cove. With a separate bath en-suite, the queen futon in the top hall provides its own gabled views for a quiet nook to read, or it can sleep two extra people.

    Shaded by our 150 year old yew tree, the private porch overlooks the pool and down the point under the chinese elms. With a full kitchen, separate bath and king bed, all windows face an uncompromised view of the broad mouth of the Choptank River. The fireplace keeps out the chill, and all cabins are air-conditioned and have TVs VCRs and DVD players.

    Pine Tree Cabin is fully handicap accessible with a ramp and seated shower in the enlarged bath. Closest to the parking lot and back cove, two comfy rocking chairs face the fireplace and TV. The screened-in porch is closest to the water, and provides the best view of the sunrise over Bar Neck and the Choptank.
