"Always brings back memories"

"We just spent a weekend celebrating our 10th anniversary at the Gray Goose, visited the Dunnes, distillery, outlet mall, Chesterton's market, restaurants and wineries. My grandparents built Palomara Farm (first two letters of their four children's names), now the Gray Goose Inn, and I have fond memories visiting grandparents and uncle while growing up. Holiday dinners in the dining room, Christmas presents in the living room, exploring the woods and old barn, tobogganing behind an old surplus jeep, camping out, and watching grandma feed the many Canada Geese (now long gone) . Grandpa and dad taught me how to fish on the lake. The house is basically the same except for the great decorating in the rooms, the kitchen taking the place of the family room and the addition of rooms the rooms. Tim is a great host and his staff is very friendly. The family donated the picture of Grandpa to the Gray Goose as a thank you to how well he has treated the memory of Palomara Farm. Each time I visit it's hard to separate out that I am a guest at the inn and not visiting like I did growing up. To this day I try not to stay in the Lon Schneider Suite because growing up we were never allowed in the grandparent's bedroom and it just feels wrong today. I hope you enjoy your stay."
