    Al piano superiore camera di Walt Whitman impiega un aspetto maschile con toni rosso bruniti, un bagno skylighted con un pavimento di pietra rosso e due finestre affiancate a ovest e un mantello con mirroring.     Fuori stagione è un delizioso tempo a Portland campione a vostro piacimento. Vino e alcuni ossequi dessert da negozi locali ispirano pigro pomeriggio nella vostra camera.     Albergo scrittore viaggi e critico Dale Northrup, CTC si trasforma locandiere in questo rowhouse di mattoni federale-stile 1830 in trendy West End Historic District di Portland, a Piazza Longfellow. Avvolta da caffè, negozi di antiquariato e più di una dozzina di ristoranti a due minuti a piedi, la locanda è centrata nel quartiere storico a pieno caricato con edifici di punto di riferimento e notevoli tesori architettonici. Ricco di comfort camere e suite catturano l'essenza del periodo federale con comfort e servizi per il business di solito riservate ai più grandi imprese di lusso. Rivista Yankee ci chiama "insopprimibile" e Chicago Tribune dice "Se noi avevamo prenotato abbastanza lontano avanti, ci sarebbe sono rimasti qui."

    What a gem!!!

    We stumbled accross this bed and breakfast through the tourist bureau on the Portland waterfront. We loved this cozy inn. It had off street parking that was well lit. The Inn was walking distance to so many restaurants that were all very busy. We ate at Norms and it was delicious! Our rooms were clean and comfortable with high end linens with a queen size bed. Breakfast was included and was more than we expected for choices of fruits, juices, cereals, breads and bagels , etc...great presentation! Oh...and awesome DVD collection! Thanks....we'll be back!!!

    Charming and Romantic.

    This was just what we were looking for. Great location where we could walk to a choice of at least 10 restaurants,... Portland Museum, and the Old Port down on the waterfront. There was free parking, free breakfast that had choices from cereals, breads/bagels, fresh fruit, juices, and one incredible tasting berry pie!! The room had an incredibly comfortable bed and all the amenities you'd want. The DVD selection in the parlor downstairs was the as good as a video store!! It was charming and quaint, .. no noise from anyone else. That's they way B+B's should be like... feeling at home and not like your in a commercial establishment with generic furnishings. We loved it and we'll come back. Portland is a great place with a lot of good shopping and some incredible restaurants!

    Percy Inn - Great Choice

    We wanted to stay in Poetland for one night and we were very pleased with the Percy Inn. The location is great to walk to many points of interest and restaurants. The service was great - a super room and a good breakfast to star tthe next day

    Great location but no wifi & dimly lit

    Great location, good service, great breakfast and snack offerings, great DVD selection. Nice touch: in the summer, a bottle of frozen water when you hit the road. Drawbacks: wifi did not work and a whole set of the lights in our room never worked, so it was a dimly lit room, hard to read after dark.

    I have stayed at the Percy Inn 3 times and the experience has been wonderful! It is clean and comfortable. The environment and breakfast are lovely. Across the street is a bar so I would recommend staying in a back room if at all possible.

    I have stayed here many times and have always been very happy. Within walking distance of many restaurants. Innkeeper very helpful and he even gave me one of thier coffee mugs on my last visit!

    Good Choice in Portland

    Great accomodations and great help on how to enjoy Portland. The innkeeper arranged room assignments to get us a large room for our group of three (my wife, daughter and me). He also pointed us to a great restaurant and made sure we knew to get reservations early. Great place to stay -- particularly if you don't know Portland and want help on how to plan your visit.
