    A delightful, centrally located B&B

    We picked the most perfect B&B in Camden. It was exceptionally clean, nicely decorated and convenient to the quaint stores in the town. It had an aire of peacefullness and relaxation.

    Nice time at Camden Windward House

    My wife and I enjoyed a nice romantic weekend getaway in the off-season while staying at the Camden Windward House. We enjoyed winter scenery in coastal Maine, went skiing at the Camden Snow Bowl and visited the Owl's Head Transportation Museum. Kristi and Jesse were wonderful hosts and the breakfasts were fantastic! Their B + B is conveniently located with a very short walk to downtown Camden's shops and restaurants. We highly recommend the Camden Windward House if you are planning a trip to the Mid-coast area of Maine and enjoy staying at B+B's.

    Great place to stay

    The Camden Windward House was a great place to stay. It was an easy walk into town. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, and cooked to order breakfast delicious. Plenty of parking in the back of the house. Innkeepers Kristi and Jesse were very friendly and helpful.

    Windward B&B - A fantastic place to stay!

    My wife and I snuck up to Camden for a quiet weekend away from Washington, DC. We had a GREAT time in Camden--the Windard B&B accomodations were fantastic. The B&B is located a very short walk (less than 1/4 mile) from Camden--near all the restuarants and shops. We stayed in the Quarterdeck Suite. The view of Mt. Battie from the private deck and the B&B gardens was spectacular; the privacy of the deck allowed us to enjoy the view along with the fruit and cheese tray, that Kristie delivered, with a nice bottle of wine. (And the entertainment of the 2 red squirrels in the nearby trees was something money can't buy!) The room was spacious, neat, clean, fresh and airey--the cathedral ceilings with the skylights were an added bonus. The breakfasts were awesome--the portions were plentiful, the selections were healthy and the flavor was outstanding. The service was the best I've seen--my wife and I stay frequently at B&Bs. Thanks Kristie for a super long weekend!

    A world of down home luxury, steps away from dowtown Camden

    Kristi and Jesse made us feel welcome and cared for. The room was heavenly with a jacuzzi tub and a view looking out at the mountains. We were able to explore Camden on foot and, thanks to a great restaurant recommendation from the innkeepers, we enjoyed fabulous dinners at Atlantica. A weekend at the Windward will blow you away!

    A nice place in Camden run by great people

    Spent five days in May 2010 at the Camden Windward House Bed & Breakfast with Kristi and Jesse. Our suite was great, the hotel was well kept and very clean and the breakfasts were fantastic. Kristi and Jesse are wonderful hosts and Jesse is quite the breakfast chef. The Widward is very close to the middle of Camden and within walking distance of all of the shops, restaurants and the harbor. I fly fish and Kristi set me up with a wonderful guide (Don Kliener - Maine Outdoors) and I enjoyed two great days of fly fishing in lakes and rivers near Camden. Jesse accomodated this by making me breakfast early both days. His food was great particularly the blueberry pancakes. My wife and I look forward to our return trip to Camden and the Windward House.

    An Amazing B&B in the Beautiful Town of Camden Maine

    WE HAD THE PLEASURE OF STAYING AT ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND FRIENDLY B&B's THAT WE HAVE STAYED AT IN A VERY LONG TIME. THE WINDWARD HOUSE IS A BLOCK FROM THE BUSTLING TOWN OF CAMDEN MAINE (WE DID NOT HAVE TO USE OUR CAR ONCE. IT WAS GREAT.) WE HAD A VERY CHARMING ROOM THAT WAS NOT ONLY SPACIOUS BUT IT WAS COZY AND WELCOMING AT THE SAME TIME. THE FAVORITE PART OF ANY DAY WAS BREAKFAST. JESSE'S PANCAKES AND WAFFLES WERE TO DIE FOR. MONTHS LATER WE STILL MISS JESSE'S BREAKFASTS. BUT EVEN WITH ALL OF THE WONDERFUL AMENITIES, THE BEST PART OF THE WINDWARD HOUSE IS THE PROPRIETORS KRISTI AND JESSE. THEY WERE OPEN AND FRIENDLY, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ALWAYS HAPPY TO HELP IN ANY WAY THEY COULD. OUR STAY WAS WONDERFUL AND WE WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANY ONE VISITING THE CAMDEN AREA. WE WOULD GIVE IT 5 STARS. LN FROM NY
