"My fiance and I stayed in the Heather room at Aberdeen for one night, and we both wished we could have stayed a week! We had the whole top floor to ourselves (it's the off-season) and the had a fridge, microwave, and tea/coffee service just steps from our room. The bathroom and shower were excellent. Everything was incredibly clean with new appliances and quaint decoration. Bonnie, one of our hosts, is an avid quilter which really lends to the personality of this place! Our bed was a king - firm, but comfortable, with nice quality pillows, linens, and beautiful handmade quilt. Our breakfast was excellent - fresh berries with yogurt, homemade cherry scones with homemade cherry jam, and a sweet pepper, ham, cheese, and pine nut egg skillet. They even grind their coffee beans (Eight O'clock brand) fresh for each pot! Bill and Bonnie were very knowledgeable about the area and what would be fun to do in late fall. They and their happy Scottish Terrier, Harry, made us feel right at home. We will absolutely be staying again, hopefully soon!!"
