I stayed at Elena's B&B for a week and it was much more than I had bargained for! As soon as I got there, they made me feel like a part of their family and not an anonymous guest at a high priced Kiev hotel! If you love the country, then Elena's the place for you! Their charming little cottage is something out of Sunset Magazine. But if you want to explore Kiev, no problem because it's only 20 minutes away. So have fun in the city, then come home to a real home-cooked meal, drinks, and nice chats with your hosts. And before you hit the sack, try the sauna! Elena and Igor speak excellent English and they have a great sense of humor. You don't have to friends or family in Ukraine, so there is no more excuse not to visit!
