  • The Colonel's House awaits you. Cadiz Street Bed and Breakfast Princeton, Ky
    Our sign tells it all. We are awaiting your arrival. Come and stay at "The Colonel's House".
    Our Miss Sula Room. Queen size bed with thick memory foam mattress. The largest and brightest of the two rooms. Can also accomadate an additional single bed if you are traveling with a young child.
    Our large living room was made for relaxing and enjoying a wonderful book. A large flat screen TV is there so you can catch up on the news or weather.
    The Miss Eliza room contains a queen bed with memory foam mattress and an original claw foot tub in the attached private bath. It also has a private entrance off of its own screened in porch where you can enjoy coffee or have your breakfast when the weather is cooperating.
    Our dining room, where each morning you will be enjoying a wonderful full breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, fresh baked that morning scones or muffins, along with an entree which you choose the night before from our large selection. you will not go away hungry when you dine with us. We do our best each morning to please you and do it at a time of your choosing. You can also have you breakfast brought to your room if you desire.
    A view of fire place which is located in the living room where you can relax at any time of the day or night. The spiral staircase leads to our room and office on the second floor.
    Relax on the porch or just watch the traffic or just watch the sun set.
    View of fireplace and dresser located in Our Miss Sula Room. Tapestry over fire place belong to Miss Sula when she owned this home along with her sister Miss Eliza in the early 1900s. It was given to us as a gift when we opened the Bed and Breakfast in 2010.

    La Cadice Street Bed and Breakfast è una casa vittoriana 1895 che è stata completamente restaurata dal 2004.     Wonderful B & B

    I recently stayed at the Colonel's House and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Great service, great accommodations, and the food is phenomenal. I wish we had stayed several days.

    Excellent place to stay with gourmet breakfasts

    Very charming, clean, quiet rooms and you will wake up to an excellent freshly prepared gourmet breakfast. The colonel will make you feel at home. I rate this as one of the better small B & B's to stay at. Excellent for families as the two seperate rooms can be turned into a family suite. It is a short drive to Paducah, Land Between the Lakes and Lake Barkley. We went to the National Quilt Museum in Paducah and had dinner at Patti's 1895 settlement, all within 1/2 hour of Princeton. I would highly recommend to anyone.

    Miss Sula

    The Miss Sula room has a large bay window on the front of the house and two other windows facing south, making it the largest and brightest room in the home. All three of the original windows were recently replaced with new insulated windows making the room more quiet and comfortable. The Miss Sula room has a private bath which is down the hall from the room itself and it has one of the original, but restored, claw foot tubs and heated bath towels. This bed room also has a 32 inch flat screen T.V. which is connected to Dish Network.

Arrive for a two night night stay for two in one of our rooms with fresh roses on your dresser. Enjoy a dinner for two on your first night at Pagliai's, this areas finest Italian resturant. Your package also contains two tickets to Adsmore, a truly unique museum. A place where you can step back in time and experience rich Kentucky living. Also found in your package will be two tickets to Eddy Grove Vineyard where you can taste several of the Medicine Man's finest wines and enjoy a complementary topas plate. This package is yours for $250 plus tax. A $290.00 value.

Romance Packages

You will have dinner for two at one of two of this areas finest resturants. When you arrive back after your dinner you will find a silk rose petal turn down of your bed as well as a large bottle of sparkling juice(red or white) and two crystal wine glasses. On your dresser will be a dish of chocolate covered strawberries and a vase of fresh roses. There will also be hot bath towels available in your private bath. This can be yours for only $175.00. A $215 value. Stay a second night for only $75.00, which is $10 off our normal price of $85. You will of course receive a full gourmet breakfast at a time of your choosing each morning of your stay.
