"I am originally from the west coast of Florida, but met up with my family on the east coast and decided to try something different and stay at the Inn at Tilton Place. There were 7 of us all together (not counting my grandmother and her sister who met up with us one afternoon). We rented 4 of the rooms, each one nicer than the last. Luckily, I got the best room of all, #8! It was nice to be able to see my family in such a relaxing place. I could meet them on the chairs outside of the inn to enjoy afternoon wine, read my book on my private balcony, or walk around the block to browse at the adorable shops and restaurants. The 3 course breakfasts were incredible and my whole family looked forward to the evenings when the next mornings menu was posted. Another perk of staying at a local Inn was that Katie has a few items that can be placed in the rooms before arrival. I had asked her to give everyone locally made chocolates, which were delicious. My dad also got a gift card to the Kona Beach Cafe, which is located right behind the Inn. It was delicious, and so convenient that we were able to walk, as we had 9 people. It is hard to say which part of the Inn was my favorite: it was spotless, homey, there is also tea available, and I can not wait to go back and enjoy another breakfast!"
