Una passeggiata di pochi minuti ci separa dal centro cittadino, dove potrete abbandonarvi al quieto ritmo della vita mediterranea visitando le botteghe artigianali dei ceramisti vietresi. La possibilità di raggiungere agevolmente le magiche località della costa d'Amalfi, del Cilento, i siti archeologici di Pompei, Ercolano, e Paestum e i centri di Salerno e Napoli vi consentirà di godere appieno di un territorio ricco di storia e bellezze naturali ENGLISH: Located in Vietri sul mare, a traditional old Mediterranean village on the Amalfi coast. We are a short walk away from the village centre, where you can enjoy the quiet Mediterranean lifestyle, stroll along the seaside or visit the traditional pottery craft shops. You can also easily reach the world-famous Amalfi coast and the Cilento villages, the impressive archaeological towns Pompei, Ercolano, Paestum and of course Salerno and Naples.

    A home away from home!

    We stayed with our wonderful hosts Lina & Gaetano for 6 nights and were thoroughly impressed, especially by the friendliness and helpfulness concerning all the details of our trip. Lina became like a second mother, caring for us and helping us with reservations (and getting discount prices for us - e.g. scooter rental) and tips (where to eat in Pompei so that you don't pay the horrendous parking fees etc.). The constantly available espresso was a great hit for us as was her 16th century home in a tiny town known for its pottery craft and lemon liquor, the limoncello. All the restaurants we went to were amazing and, given that we are both veggies, instead of being upset that we couldn't eat their signature dishes, the kitchens became especially creative and took us on as a challenge, resulting in amaaaazing meals! If you want to be woken up by a gorgeous rooster in the morning, miss your own mother at times and enjoy the sleepy southern Italian lifestyle just like we do, this is the place for you!
