5 su 5More than we paid for...
giugno 27, 2012
We stayed at Venere Pompeiana in April and would highly recommend it. Although a bit tricky to find, Fabio and his father came to meet us downtown and led us to it. We loved that we were able to leave our rental car at their property while we visited the town and the ruins. Fabio and his father were very warm, offered a lot of information of the area, fed us a great breakfast and gave us a beautiful room with a great view of Pompeii. Our itinerary only allowed us one night there, but next time we will make this our headquarters and take day trips to Sorrento and Naples. The room and bathroom were clean, warm, spacious and comfortable. But the best part was the genuine Di Casola family hospitality . Plus...this was the most cost-effective b&b of our whole three week stay in Italy! Martie DiGregorio
5 su 5The B&B we've ever stayed at!!

The rooms are beautifully decorated and the villa is gorgeous and kept spotless! We had the room on the top floor which had it's own balcony that overlooked Pompeii which was absolutely perfect to watch the sunset while enjoying a bottle of local wine. Fabio and his father (a guide at the ruins of Pompeii) were a wealth of help and information for ever place we wanted to see and everything we wanted to do. The breakfast was amazing!! Freshly made coffee by Fabio every morning with a spread of water, juice, sliced meat and cheese, rolls, jams, nutella and fresh pastries from a local bakery. More than you could possible eat! We didn't get a car for a trip so Fabio picked us up from the train station and dropped us off which was very sweet of them. When we had trouble with the minutes we bought for our phone they got on the phone for over an hour and straightened everything out! Amazing service from amazing hosts!! The trip wouldn't have been the same without them and we look forward to staying here again on our next trip!

The room was nice, clean and quiet. Breakfasts were good and copious. It tooks only 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the archeologic site. The owners, Fabio and Raphel, kindly gave us many interesting info about the ancient city and other sites in the area. When they were at home, they would offer us a lift to ancient city gateway. They maked us feel that we were friends rather than customers.

We stayed 4 nights in Venere Pompeiana and it was great. We could sleep in the same room with our 2 kids, breakfast was excellent and Fabio and his father were very helpful, both giving information and riding us to the station and the entrance of the archeological site. Grazie, amici!
