The villa is located inside a park that once was the game reserve of Este aristocratic people, in an environment of rare beauty.       VILLA HORTI DELLA FASANARA is located in a place named by Ferrara Comune "THE COUNTRYSIDE INSIDE FERRARA RENAISSANCE WALLS ; OF THE OVERALL LENGHT OF approximately 9 Km, along the cycle lane that, starting from th Porta degli Angeli (Gate of Angels), at the end of Corso Ercole I ;Este, characterized by a fortification dating back to 1525 known as the Casa del Boia (House of the Executioner) from where a long time ago one could spot the estense; residences of Belfiore and Barchetto, continues along the embankment to Punta della Montagnola (Tip of the little mountain), a place often at the center of strange events, some real and some mythical, and then gets through a green area wich features several different gardens, to finally reach via delle Erbe and Piazza Ariostea, a symbol of the Addizione Erculea (Ercole Addition a set of costruction works ordered by Ercole I Este), dating back to the end of the 1400 and the beginning of 1500.
