    Motorcycle Trip

    We don't stay in many B & B's but were pleased with our stay at Annie Wiggins. Wendy was so welcoming and friendly and a wealth of knowledge. She also was willing to share her interest and participation in Civil War Re-enactments. We had a wonderful time and the house was so beautiful. We are already planning a trip back to Galena.

    A fantastic relaxing, beautiful, and exciting B & B!

    We arrived without a reservation and were sincerely welcomed by the innkeeper for a three night stay. The innkeeper was very knowledgable about the house, events in the area, and restaurant recommendations. The house, porches, and our room were beautifully maintained and decorated with period and autumn accessories. Morning breakfast, afternoon brandy, and freshly baked cookies in the evening were extraordinarilly delicous! We are already planning our return visit and are recommending the place to our friends.

    Relaxing and Beautiful

    Our 21st wedding anniversary was just perfect thanks to Wendy (owner). We felt so at home in the beautiful old house. Breakfast was absolutely worth getting up for. Our room was even better in person than the great pictures online.

    WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE

    My husband and I stood at this beautifully kept B&B for our honeymooon back in June 2007. It was a wonderful experience! Wendy, the innkeeper, was so helpful and friendly. We stayed in a room toward the back of the house and had a private entrance with our own sitting area outside. The linens and little trinkets finish this room off. And the breakfast..... to die for! Wendy really goes all out for her guests. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and so did my husband. We will definitely be going back!
