  • This landmark historic home is extra wide, with an open design was built by a very wealthy faimly and was finally finished in 1893. The owners have restored it with lots of caretaking love now with 6 ornate fireplaces, original staircase and pocket doors,floors, window shutters, stained glass and wood trim throughout and absolutely everywhere. Lots of space for outside lounging too on this corner lot.

    Il Welcome Inn Manor B & B del Michigan Avenue è situato a 5 minuti a sud di McCormick Convention Center e 8 minuti per il centro città in un'area di Chicago chiamato "Bronzeville" dove blues, jazz e R&B si è evoluto ed è stata confrontata con la Harlem Renaissance al volgere del secolo.     Even though we offer WiFi and you can do work in one of 4 places in the common areas of our inn, I am still happy to learn that you could put away your laptop and hand held device to just chill out. Good to know you could relax with soothing music everyday, fun food and our quiet ambiance...away from work and worries. Truly loved having you and our fun loving and inspirational conversations.     It is good to know that my husband is holding down the fort...and so-called working or shall I say...socializing, having coffee, chewing the fat, offering appetizers and drinks with our guests when they return to the inn and a bunch of other fun-loving stuff.
