"I came to Park City for the Fourth of July holiday and really fell in love with the Silver Moose Ranch. The setting was exceptional. The view from my room looked out over the lawn to a pond and to the pasture and the mountains beyond. The property felt very private and secluded but I was able to walk to nearby restaurants and shopping and explore the Main Street area. I did enjoy sleeping with the windows open to hear the rushing creek that runs past the house and the weather was perfect during my stay, nice and cool. I didn't see the resident Moose while I was there, but I did enjoy watching the horses and a family of ducks. The wildflowers were pretty at that time of the year. The hosts were friendly and helpful. And they do feed you well! That 'creme brule french toast' for breakfast was really something and I definately took advantage of the bottomless cookie jar. They also seemed very knowledgeable about the area and had good recommendations about what to see and do while I was there. I loved their suggestion to take the Deer Valley lift to the top of Bald Mountain and enjoy the view with a picnic lunch. The house is charming, both rustic and elegant at the same time. Lots of windows and every view is a good one. I liked that there were several different sitting/gathering areas and lots of room to spread out. My room was comfortable, clean, and the view could not have been better. The ranch was still under renovation while I was there; I was told that the bedding, linens, and decor would soon be upgraded. There is a hot tub and Wi-Fi access. I had a very relaxing stay on my own but I think the place would be perfect for an event or family gathering also. I will definately be going back. Can't wait to see the Ranch during ski season! "
