"We stayed for two nights in mid-February, and went skiing at the Cranmore resort. I definitely recommend this combination if you're looking for a relaxing ski weekend - Cranmore is literally down the street from the Inn, and a good low-key place to ski whether you're a complete beginner or more experienced. When we weren't skiing, we spent time at the inn by the fireplaces, chatting, reading, and watching a movie. We traveled with a friend who is gluten-free, and in addition to providing gluten-free breakfasts each morning, Paula made a special batch of gluten-free cookies which were waiting for us on our arrival late Friday night. We'll definitely stay at the Buttonwood Inn again - I'm excited to see it in the summer!"
