"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Colonel Taylor Inn. The home dating back to the 1870's is an immense 9,000 square feet of living space and beautifully furnished. It was a pleasure to visit with the owner as well as her 91 year old mother who sometimes assists with guests. Sitting on the back porch, one could imagine the house when it was a private residence. The breakfasts were gourmet and served with some of the beautiful china and crystal the owner has collected. A visit to the Wilds is a must when staying in the area. "
