Nello stile della regione, i proprietari hanno fatto tutto il possibile per mantenere lo spirito originale dell'edificio fattoria e sperano che consentono di godere di un soggiorno riposante, tranquillo ma esaltante in questo piacevole e confortevole casa nel bel mezzo di un paesaggio boscoso e selvaggio. Situato a soli 30 minuti dal Saint Etienne e un'ora da Lione, si entra molto francese e autentico ambiente, ancora arredata con tutte le attrezzature moderne: flat screen TV e lettore DVD in ogni camere, servizi igienici privati e bagni, accesso a Internet e mobili di Nizza. Agnes farà del suo meglio per farvi scoprire tipici francese colazioni e piatti regionali per la cena, se più golosi. La casa è al centro di un grande cortile dove potrete godere animali dei proprietari (gatti, cane, polli, anatre, capre...) Ed entrambi proprietari parlano inglese!

This is a gem of a B & B in a quiet hamlet. It has recently been tastefully renovated and is immaculate. The gardens are lovely and well kept. Agnes is a delightfully personable woman who chatted with us and made us feel right at home. She went over and above our expectations with all the information and help she provided. We didn't dine at the B & B but given the service we received, I'm sure it would be a great experience. I heartily recommend this charming B & B for a pleasurable stay. We were amazed at the warm and friendly amosphere at this place, and very much enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts, Agnes and Francois. We would come again in a heartbeat. The home, including the bedroom and the bathroom were done very well and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The food was the best, and all homemade with care. Thank you both, for a very enjoyable stay!

Apart from the delightful surroundings and home itself, what makes this stay extra special is the friendliness and inclusiveness of the innkeepers, Agnès amd François. This is a family home and, whereas there is appropriate private space, you are made to feel part of the household during your stay. The lack of a separate entrance to your quarters could be seen as a disadvantage, but it is fun to come 'home' and walk through the large kitchen and dining room to your own space and, in our experience, Agnès is often found cooking something delicious for the family ... or for guests if they wish to arrange dinner. Opening the shutters in the morning reveals a beautiful garden and potager. In short, a lovely experience of French life with most gracious of hosts.

We booked on the net and really did not know what to expect. Agnes and Francois were the most wonderful hosts - we are still talking about Agnes' nettle soup. We only had an overnight stay We booked an overnight stay at La Desirade on the net, and really did not know what to expect. Agnes & Francois, our hosts, made us feel very welcome. We are still talking about Agnes' menu for dinner that night - simply superb. Forgot to get the recipe for the nettle soup. Susan & John - Sydney, Australia

Indicazioni stradali per raggiungere la struttura:
Guida da Lyon: prendere autostrada A7 o A46 verso Marsiglia. Destra prima Givors, ottenere su autostrada A47, direzione St Etienne/Clermont Ferrand. Solo quando arrivano a St Etienne, deve andare il 88 nazionali verso Le Puy en Velay. Siete su una strada di 2 x 2 vie. Dopo aver superato da Monistrol s/loire, prendere l'uscita St Maurice, circa 6-7 kms. Andare sotto il N88 per entrare in villaggio del St Maurice de Lignon. Proseguite dritto in avanti fino alla fine del villaggio. Appena prima di uscire, troverete un parcheggio con un posto sulla vostra destra. A questo incrocio, si dovrà andare sulla sinistra direzione Maubourg-Les Yverras-Chateau de Maubourg (una croce di acciaio sta mostrando l'intersezione) Prendere questa strada per circa 1 km (strada va giù poi fino in un'area di legno). Quando si guida fuori del bosco, mantenere guidando per 200 metri. Nella parte inferiore di questa discesa, si vedrà un gruppo di case lapidati sulla vostra sinistra. Desirade la casa è una grande edificio con un cancello in legno della fattoria lapidata. Bonne route!!!
