    A Great Little Inn

    When we arrived we found out the Inn had been sold. The new owners had taken over 2 days prior to our arrival. The owners were so welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic. We did not eat in the dining room because it was closed so they could renovate it. I think the new owners will make the Inn even better than it was. We had stayed there 4 years ago. We would go back in the future.

    Staying at the Old City House Inn & Restaurant was a wonderful experience. We always like Saint Augustine, but the delightful staff and the ideal location made this the perfect spot for us and for what we like to do when we are there.. Park the car, and enjoy the ambiance of the Old City... On top of that, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts totally amazing... and the coffee!! It was the best! We will definitely stay there again.. and thanks again to all the staff who made us feel "at home".

    Weekend Stay at the Inn

    Dinner was outstanding. We also enjoyed breakfast and the "happy hour". We would have liked to meet the owners. The Flagler room could use a light at the dresser and at the sitting area. The toilet seat in the bathroom needs tightening.

    Camera Alcazar, ha un tema di "Città di Venezia" e prende lo storico Hotel Alcazar (circa 1880) si trova lungo la strada (ora un museo). La sala Alcazar si trova il nostro secondo piano e ha una bellissima vista del Museo Lightner giardini e Flagler College. Ha un queen size, four-poster, letto in ghisa, TV via cavo, bagno privato con doccia, soffitti a Cattedrale e un ingresso privato tramite una propria scala. Questa scala possono anche essere resi accessibile alla nostra sala Flagler che fornisce una suite di due stanze, se lo si desidera.

Finestre nella sala di aspetto nord verso Flagler College, i giardini del Museo Lightner e la Casa Monica Hotel e sud verso Palm Row, un pittoresco quartiere residenziale costruito alla fine del 1800. La sala di Cordova è decorata con un tema "out of Africa".

    La sala Flagler si trova il nostro secondo piano ed è una delle nostre camere più grandi. La camera è denominata dopo Mr. Henry Flagler e decorata in un tema "out of Africa". Oltre a un letto, mano scolpito, four poster bed, la camera ha un piccolo soggiorno con amore sede e tavolino. Anche la camera dispone di TV via cavo, bagno privato con doccia e vasca e un ingresso privato tramite un corridoio coperto. Un secondo ingresso modo consente l'accesso alla nostra scala posteriore e la nostra camera Alcazar che fornisce una suite di due stanze, se lo si desidera.

    La nostra camera Augustin si trova al primo piano e ha un ingresso privato adiacente della Locanda Office e Residence del Inn custode.     St. George camera, con arredi tropicali, è la nostra stanza più popolare e si trova al secondo piano. La camera ha una finestra grande raggera guardando a sud verso Palm Row, un pittoresco quartiere residenziale costruito alla fine del 1800. La camera dispone di una grande vasca idromassaggio separato dalla camera da letto principale zona da piantagione persiane e piante.     We've stayed here 3 different times now and each visit is wonderful. The rooms are well appointed and the breakfast's in the restaurant are simply outstanding. Excellent location and very pleasant staff. We will return.

    A Most Wonderful Stay

    I was just there last week for the first time. We stayed in the Alcazar room with the private entrance. It was charming and very private. The room was very clean and the bath with shower was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The location was perfect (across the street from the Lightner Museum and across the street from Flagler College (the wonderful old Ponce de Leon Hotel built by Flagler - a must see) and two blocks from the Marina. The breakfasts were fabulous! Only complaints - no coffee in the rooms for first thing in the morning and the doors stuck with the humidity. Otherwise, I'd definately stay again and again.

    The inn was lovely and the location was amazing. You are right in the heart of the City. Right by both the Alcazar and the Ponce de Leon. Even the smallest room is well appointed and nice. I would recommend this place to anyone.

    Noisy, Noisy, Noisy

    The Old City House was exactly what it looks like. A cute charming B&B. We stayed in the Alcazar room. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Though the bathroom could use some renovating. But BEWARE! at 5:00am the hotel next door recieves its shipments and is it Noisy, Noisy, Noisy. They sould give you a warning about this when booking your room. Breakfast was excellent. Too bad the same can't be said for our server. Who acted putout by the littlest request (napkin please). Even though there were only 2 other tables of 2.

    In 2007 the Old City House spent over $80,000 to completely renovated 5 of 7 rooms and bathrooms, including the Alcazar. The bathrooms in the other 2 rooms were renovated 4 years prior. The issue of noise in the Alcazar Room has also been address with the City of St. Augustine garbage pick up and nearby hotel deliveries. While the Alcazar Room was prone to such noises, they have been mitigated and we now feel our Inn (that room), which locacted on a side street, is as or more peaceful than other Inns/Hotels located on St. Augustine busy main streets.
