  • The Rheinauer house, built in 1890, is architecturally described as a Vernacular Victorian Carpenter styled with Gothic influence. The grandeur of the property confirms well the successful lifestyle and significant influence Charles and Emma Rheinauer had historically. Be sure to read our historical page to learn more.
    The inn is full of treasures. Late 19th century period pieces take life throughout the inn. The parlor showcases a rare light oak grand piano built in 1880, brought from our home in Cincinnati Ohio, surrounded by delightful Victorian Era appointments.
    THE CAIRO SUITE. Enter the Empire of the Pharaohs where Egyptian artifacts and scattered gilded treasures lead travelers into the Valley of the Kings. Faux painted block walls and shimmering gold accents reflect the rich vibrant colors of royalty -- an evening in Egypt is as timeless as the age itself. There's even King Tut's Sarcophagus tomb protecting its inhabitants! The plush King sized bed rises on a platform among the pyramids, crowned with authentic Egyptian tapestried frame. The Cairo, our largest suite, offers a Jacuzzi built for two, relaxation shower and a turn of the century fireplace.

    THE MADRID SUITE. You can almost hear soulful chant of "La Jota" tempered by the teasing Castanets as they flirt with the passionate Spanish Guitar. Madrid sets the night on fire with sunset golds and reds walls, exposed brick and a 19th century fireplace. A chiffoned-dressed Canopy King Sized Bed adorns the room offering the most incredible sleep experience. A unique stone shower equipped with ten shower heads is awaiting for your relaxation and pleasure. On the other hand, you may prefer the soothing two person whirlpool set at the foothills of the Sierra de Guadarrama where the silhouettes of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza hide in their shadow.

Prints from Spanish Renaissance Painter, Francisco Goya embrace the walls that hold a Mid-Century swords made by prisoners in Malaga. Hand carved mahogany doors serve entry into the suite and the magnificent Spa Stone Shower, made for two!
    THE CASABLANCA SUITE. Combining the exotic colors, fabrics and glimmer of the most famed Moroccan city, Casablanca offers a mirage of majestic temples and palaces. Our Suite exudes a sense of excitement, curiosity and vibrant intensity. On the other hand, warm colors and alluring appointed decor promote a desire to fleet formality, to act spontaneously without inhibition. A night in Casablanca begins an artistic expedition including the 400 year old ancient doors from a temple in Bali, a king size bed cradled in an amazing framed canopy of chiffons. The Casablanca suite offers a fireplace and a magnificent mosaic bath with a large soaking Jacuzzi tub built for two.

    THE BEIJING SUITE. From floor to ceiling, the Zen-Like harmony of the Orient is displayed through the creative use of antique Asian art pieces and appointed brogada silks. While the setting is subtle, the effect is dramatic. From the Indonesian Mahogany Opium Queen Bed, to the stone meditation shower and deep sea blue sinks, you may indulge yourself with an evening in mysterious and fascinating Beijing.

Its intimate boudoir welcomes guest to a romantic evening along the Left Bank.
