"As a wedding gift we held my son's wedding here and it was a memorable time for all of us! We rented both houses for two nights, used the lake venue for the wedding ceremony, the barn for the dinner, dance, and reception. We had rehearsal dinner in the main house the night before the wedding and the bride and groom opened gifts the morning after the wedding during a wonderful breakfast that our hosts created! Family members and the wedding party stayed both nights which made the event a special time for everyone. There were 175 guest at the wedding. Maurine and Bruce were so good to everyone- I'll never forget Bruce and Maurine staying up watching movies with the bride and groom after the wedding party! Bruce even let us use his brand new- unopened father's day present, a very nice croquette set after we spied it in the basement :). We were basically allowed to take over the entire property, Bruce and Maurine accommodated our every request, and there were many, most of which required hard work and time from our hosts. A great place to have a wedding you and your guests will cherish the memories forever! As a side note, the event was VERY affordable and exceeded my son and his wife's wildest dreams!"
