My recent stay at Rock Cottage Gardens was my husband and I's first time at a B&B and I couldn't have been happier. Rooms were roomy and cozy, food was delicious, and the owner made sure we had every little thing we could want. I will absolutely recommend my family and friends stay here on their next trip to Eureka Springs.
Mount Victoria was the perfect place to have a long, romantic weekend getaway for me and my boyfriend. We were greeted by our friendly landlords as soon as we stepped out of the car (and a very friendly dog named Elizabeth Taylor) and given a quick tour and some general info. The room was beautiful and the bed was heavenly, we both slept like babies! The location to the main loop of Eureka Springs was great. The breakfasts were excellent (we were a little unimpressed with the coffee, although they do grind theirs each morning they said), Lisa's daily cookies are fabulous, and the two cats added to the charm of the place. It's a beautiful home, the room was comfortable, cozy, and charming. We really had a great time here. We didn't really see much of the landlords while there, but they were always quick to answer the phone if we had any questions. Cost was a bit pricey, but that's what you're going to pay for a nice B&B so I thought it was fine. All in all, highly recommend Mount Victoria B&B.
After reviewing the plethora of B&B options for Eureka, we got lucky on a cancellation and got the place we wanted to stay with RCG. Overall, the experience was great. We were in great proximity to downtown, there was a great little fire pit outside, and the food and service were truly exceptional. You can tell they take a lot of pride in service they provide. The rooms were a little dated, but not lacking in charm, cleanliness or amenities. I mention it only to set realistic expectations. Cozy and quaint, but not luxurious. Which is great for my money! We spent most of our evening at dinner and relaxing outside by the fire pit with a group of retirees from all over the region. It was great. The breakfast is amazing. One of our toddlers came down sick overnight, so we couldn't lounge as much as we'd like, but we will next time! This is a great, unpretentious little spot to spend a weekend in Eureka Springs. I highly recommend it, and look forward to coming back.
What a delightful visit! John was as lovely as could be....from the directions in, area information & greeting to the pretty room ending with the best breakfasts I've had at a b&b. I thank you so much for the great southern hospitality!
We enjoyed our stay, but felt that it would have been nice if we had options on what time breakfast was served. It came every morning at 9am and was incredible! Also, we loved having breakfast in our room, but thought it would have been nicer to have a knock at the door with breakfast left on the trey outside instead of having it brought into the room. Chris and Lisa (the owners) live there. It felt a little strange to hear hi and bye every time we came in and left the house. The tv was small and was inside the antique armore along with our hanging cloths. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Nice place overall. Next time we'll probably stay somewhere a little more private, though.
My husband and I needed a break from work. We wanted peace and quiet. We found it at the Rock Cottage Gardens B&B. If you want high gliz, this is not for you. If you want great food, an interesting host (Steve was gone) and comfortable accommodations, come to the Rock Cottage Gardens. You stay in your own cottage therefore no common walls. The cottage was assigned a parking space. There was a 2 person jacuzzi tub (didn't use) and a separate shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. There were 2 wingback chairs and an ottoman, a small refrigerator and a Keurig coffee machine in our cottage. We were provided with K-cups, tea bags, coffee mugs, wine glasses, a wine opener and water glasses. There is a gas fireplace. When we come back to Eureka Springs, we will be staying again with Kathy and Steve.
Cozy place with very nice whirlpool tubs and even nicer beds. Owner is very friendly and provides great service whenever you need it. I do suggest one of the cabins instead of the suites if complete quiet and privacy is important, but even then they're great.
Our stay at the White River Lodge was fabulous! Our room was romantic with an exceptional view of the lake. My husband slept better in that bed than he does in ours...so comfy! The hot tub was clean and perfect for a chilly night. Breakfast was delicious and Becky shared some really great suggestions for places to see and dine. We have spread the word about this magical place and will definitely be back!!
This was our second time staying at the 5 Ojo Inn Bed & Breakfast. We love the room with the balcony overlooking the woods as we drank our gourmet coffee in the morning. The delicious 3 course breakfasts cooked by Jan & Richard are simply amazing! We love sitting with other couples in the dining area and sharing stories. Jan & Richard are wonderful to provide information about local restaurants and entertainment. Their recommendations are spot on. We can't wait to go back for our 3rd visit!
My husband and I stayed at Cliff Cottages Inn for our anniversary. It was a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and outdoor shower! The treats, beer, and champagne awaiting us was a nice touch. The gourmet breakfast was wonderful. It is within walking distance to downtown which is nice so you do not have to pay for parking. I will be visiting again soon hopefully!
My wife and I have stayed here a number of times and it is thumbs up the best place to stay in Eureka. Rick and Cheri and great innkeepers; friendly, professional and always available without being intrusive. Breakfast is fantastic!
My wife and I recently stayed at 5 ojo bed and breakfast in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and we had a great time. 5 ojo bed and breakfast is a lovely bed and breakfast located in the historic loop of Eureka springs and is owned by Richard and Jan Grinnell. Richard and Jan went out of their way to make sure my wife and I had a great experience at Eureka Springs. They not only run a first class Bed and Breakfast with great breakfasts. My wife and I loved the food and was always early for breakfast but gave us coupons for free massages and discounts off meals at great restaurants in Eureka Springs. This introduced us to other business in Eureka Springs and expanded and enriched our stay at Eureka Springs. Richard and Jan's hospitality was out of this world and we highly recommend anyone planning a trip to Eureka Springs to stay at 5 ojo bed and breakfast.
Our room was clean, nicely furnished and styled, the Innkeeper is friendly and helpful, and our breakfast was wonderful...again. Our room felt very romantic and private. Breakfast is served privately in your room which is great. I'm sure we'll be back again! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mini-getaway. It's very relaxing.
Richard and Jan were great hosts! Richard performed our small, outside wedding ceremony on the Inn grounds and did it fabulously! Jan decorated the cake and toasting table and took pictures during the event. She did a great job, as well. They combined to make our special day very memorable. The cottage was very nice, comfortable and well maintained. The breakfasts they prepared were amazing and nicely served. Manuela did a wonderful job cleaning and tidying the cottage during our stay. We intend on visiting again many times in the future. Thank you Richard and Jan!
This place always meets and exceeds our expectations. The owners are always so accommodating and the place is unbelievable. The view alone is breathtaking. We will return. Make sure to make a journal entry and read some of the stories that are left by the visitors.
We stayed in the Summit Suite for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. The room was even better than we expected (the photos don't do it justice!). The bed was a dream. The breakfast was like nothing we've ever had before. Friendly, non-invasive service. The Innkeeper has a true gift for hospitality (and cooking)! We will definitely be back.
We arrived early and the owner was still busy cleaning up after a busy Blues, Bikes, and BBQ weekend, so he said he would call me as soon as the room was ready, and we headed downtown. We browsed and walked, and than he called (close to our actual check-in time), so we went back up. He was kind and generous enough to put us in the cottage (an upgrade) even though I had booked a room. Everything was perfect! My wife especially loved breakfast on the deck, watching the deer and listening to the birds.
