    After 18 months of renovations the majority done by ourselves we now have a beautiful home which we can share with our guests. We restored the building to enhance its charm and character revealing many of its original features along the way. These include oak lintels doors panelling oak beams and fireplaces. If you like old properties you will love our home. The Bay Horse and the village of Ravenglass was once the haunt of smugglers and rumours say that there is an underground tunnel connecting our home to the Ship Inn (another former Inn across the road). This would have been used by the smugglers to move contraband from Inn to Inn so hiding from the customs men. We have a guest lounge with use of maps local information books and a TV with DVD. We offer secure storage for cycles packed lunches on requests and drying facilities.
