Welcome to the Shireburn Arms at Hurst Green. A historic 17th Century inn of great warmth and character at the heart of the Ribble Valley and home to the Tolkien Trail. Originally a 17th Century coaching inn the Shireburn Arms has provided hospitality to travellers and villagers alike for many many years. Set in the heart of picture perfect Hurst Green and surrounded by the rolling hills and valleys of the Lancashire countryside the Shireburn Arms is a haven to walkers exploring the Ribble Valley and home to the Tolkein Trail. Perfect for a quick bite to eat or drink a relaxing meal with friends or if you’ve got something to celebrate we also have a function room and lots of bedrooms. There are 22 bedrooms at the Shireburn Arms and although they’ve not yet been given the same treatment as the bar dining room and function rooms they are spacious and comfortable. Once completed the Shireburn Arms will provide luxury accommodation to rival any other hotel in the Ribble Valley. The atmosphere and ambience created is quite unique. We’re a country pub at heart but a country pub of your dreams with open fires flag floors low beams old oak tables and chairs and a bar well stocked with real ale. Nowadays the restaurant offers a superb Menu and features many local specialities using the freshest ingredients locally sourced wherever possible. When eating out at the Shireburn Arms you can be assured of tasty and wholesome Lancashire food which will leave you thoroughly satisfied. We believe we have one of the best restaurants in the area. The bar is incredibly well stocked with real ales thoughtfully selected wines and an extensive selection of brandies whiskies as well as other more exotic spirits and liqueurs.
