    Lowerfield Farm offre alloggi di alta qualità in un ambiente bellissimo. Siamo appena fuori il grazioso villaggio di Broadway e con una splendida vista sulla scarpata di Cotswold e Broadway Tower, un miglio dal villaggio Willersey e quattro miglia dalla città vecchia di mercato lana di Chipping Campden.     Lowerfield Farm

    We arrived late but at the pre-arranged time. Our room was ready and no lengthy formalities concerning booking in were observed save signing in. Instruction on the local area was thankfully brief as all we wanted to do was change and find a restaurant. The recommended eatery was excellent. The room was totally beyond belief! Clean, fresh, quality furniture, a sumptuous and huge bed that despite initial misgivings concerning how very soft it seemed, was just so comfortable we both slept extremely well. Far better than most any other place I've stayed! Try to get the room with the double-aspect over surrounding countryside, stunning view, huge warm room. Breakfast is worthy of comment by way of quality and quantity. The full English(local or home-grown sausages, bacon, duck and chicken eggs naturally) was excellent, but also was the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on bagels, as were the beautifully light american-style pancakes and syrup, many american diners could learn a thing or two here! The thing that stands out in my mind from our trip I think, is the Honesty Bar! Our hosts have gone to the trouble and expense of acquiring a Drinks License, and have a small but very well stocked bar. As the farm is some distance from the nearest town, driving is essential; so to be able to just pop down to the Honesty Bar and help oneself to a nightcap or two is such a good idea it's surprising it's so rare. One merely helps oneself and writes in the book what has been taken. It's added to the bill at the end of your stay and is surprisingly reasonably priced. Apparently, and quite rightly, this service is not abused and as such remains on offer. Quite a beautiful touch, but then one has to remember that Lowerfield is someone's home, why abuse their hospitality? Rooms were cleaned during the day, re-stocked with tea/coffee. We have need to return to the area shortly, we would not even entertain thoughts of staying anywhere else.
