"We were booked to stay on St George Island when Tropical Storm Debby hit the area and the Island bridge was closed and the Island evacuated. We stopped at Coombs Inn in the torrential rain and were greeted graciously and as family by Maria. Even though we had no reservation they made room for us in a lovely room called the Azalea. And due to our hardship of being displaced they even reduced the room rate for drenched and stranded visitors! Thanks again - everything about the Inn was lovely."
