We spent there one night paying 110 € for a double room without breakfast. We felt that this price was not worth for what was offered: Poor bed which was not adequate as a double bed. After we had complained, a larger mattress was put on top, which however was hard to sleep on with a smaller mattress below. (Of course I can cope with that, however paying 110€ for this is poor.) The room was used also as a store room for a large massage couch. We got neither a key for our room nor a key for the front door. We were told that Internet is available, however nobody would give us the correct WIFI information. Although we were told that we do not need a key, because there is always somebody present, we could not check in to get rid of our luggage before 18:30. Would we have had the chance to see the room earlier, we surely would have looked for a different location. The main purpose of the apartment seems to be a kind of therapeutic massage praxis with patients being treated there. In addition in the entrance room there are a number of flyers on spiritual topics offered. We got no bill for our payment.

We were two parents and a 21 year old son traveling together. The location was perfect. Despite having paid our deposit nearly two months in advance, our room was not ready at 10 pm. The photos of the interior are not accurate; there was a massage table in our room. Part of the space is rented out to cranial-sacral and massage therapists, and there were brochures for a wide range of alternative treatments including sexual mastery. Our double bed had no bottom sheet, and the single sheet provided moved around in the night making for uncomfortable sleep. Our room faced a quiet courtyard, thankfully, given the reviews for a different Skindergade apartment The owner has two spacious apartments in an old building. He was often in the main living room and kitchen but it was unclear where he slept. Beautiful floors and windows. We felt secure in the building. Small shared living rooms were cozy but large front rooms ( the main photo) were discombobulated with furniture, yoga mats, umbrellas piled willy-nilly. Wi-fi was available only about 33% of the time depending on location of the router; Stefan needs to add a booster. One night there was a workshop being held in one of the large rooms which definitely did not feel like a B and B! Hakura, Inga and Martin were there along with Stefan so there appears to have been personnel turnover since the other reviews; there was no sign of Suzanne Darmer. The breakfast offered for 100K EACH is a roll, a tasty smoothie, tea, 3 pats of butter, peanut butter and jam packets and a loaf of bread (which was perhaps offered for us to take for lunches but we didn't understand that). For comparison, our 3 nights here cost 3600 DK (not including breakfast) whereas 2 nights at a Radisson Blu in Oslo (booked well in advance) cost 3790 NOK, but the Radisson included a full breakfast. Different experiences for sure!

This was a last minute find and so much better than staying in a hotel. Staying here made this such an enjoyable visit to Copenhagen. Just around the corner from the University and a range of great cafes and restaurants (try Paludans). We hope to be back again in future and would definitely recommend Old City B&B to others. Mikkel was great, very helplful and told us about a wonderful Indian restaurant (Shahi). Janet (Perth, WA).

In the expensive Copenhagen, this B&B is a great solution for people with low budget. We stayed there for a weekend and enjoyed the tasteful decoration, the great breakfast and Didda and Mikkel's availability and advice. The B&B is located right in the middle of the city center, with many restaurants, shops, and within walking distance of the metro (line 2 to the airport) and main sites.
