    Ideal and Idyllic Delaware Vacation

    Imagine... Broad Creek River winding past the backyard, quiet streets perfect for a morning stroll or jog, breakfast to suit your travel plans, offered from 7 to 9am in a cozy Victorian dining room with lace table cloth, stylish linens, and an assortment of coffees and teas. In August we awakened daily to Lisa's fresh fruit compotes - watermelon and kiwi; canteloupe and blueberries; citrus mix -- all as delightful to the eye as they were to the appetite. And who can forget the waffles one day, the savory scrambled eggs the next, maple syrups and jams, and the pancakes on the last day so light and tender they all but floated off our plates. Bethel Bed and Breakfast is the perfect base of operations for day trips to Lewes, Cape May, Rehoboth Beach, Nanticoke, and a dozen enjoyable places in between. Lisa and Charles are the ideal hosts with a marvelous knack of wholeheartely welcoming you as members of their household while completely respecting your privacy and accomodating your schedule. Who could ask for more?
