"Our first bed and breakfast stay and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was beautiful , spacious and appointed beautifully. When we checked in we were told that our particular room did not have heat. They explained there was a fireplace in the room, and to compensate for our inconvenience they sent a bottle of chilled champaigne and glasses to our room. We were also promised that if we needed extra blankets, to please let them know. As it turned out our room was very comfortable and qute warm, even with the fireplace turned off , despite the chill in the December air. The next morning we had reservations in their dining room for a wonderful Sunday brunch. We will definetly stay here again, and plan to return just to have brunch, or dine in the evening here sometime soon. "
