    Nepenthe SI TROVA nella foresta pluviale che domina il villaggio di El Castillo, LAGO ARNEAL E HA LA VISTA MIGLIORE SECONDA DEL FLUSSO DI LAVA DA VULCANO ARNEAL. Siamo a 800 metri a sud della LINDA VISTA DEL NORTE LOGGIA E 30 MINUTI DAL COMUNE DI LA FORTUNA. Ci sono diversi ottimi ristoranti nelle vicinanze INCLUSO IL VISTA LINDA Steak House, LA NUOVA SODA DE PUEBLO, LA Serpentario, RANCHO MARGOT, PIZZA IL FAMOSO GIOVANNI E GELATO NELLA GIUNGLA (JARDINE ESCONDIDO), LA Iguña PERSO, E LA LOGGIA OSSERVATORIO (BEST Cheeseburger IN COSTA RICA) ci sono molte cose da fare oltre semplicemente per rilassarsi e godersi il panorama magnifico. Possiamo organizzare per il backup EQUITAZIONE con una guida locale. Il Giardino delle Farfalle è valsa la pena VISITA PER VEDERE TUTTE LE insetti, rane, farfalle e piante DI COSTA RICA. IL BALDACCHINO CIELO E TRAM LINEA RIDES ZIP SONO MOLTO VICINO E LA Serpentario HA MOLTI DEI SERPENTI LOCALE PIÙ A BOA GIGANTE - ALL GLASS DIETRO. Il lago offre PESCA e visite BARCHE.

    a wonderful little paradise

    I did a lot of research on B&Bs in Costa Rica and this one had a few good reviews on Tripadvisor. I was NOT disappointed and would LOVE to go back if the volcano ever becomes active once again. The drive up to the B&B is rocky and at times steep - a vehicle with clearance is definitely recommended. (We never actually turned on the 4x4 function, I doubt it's necessary unless it's the rainy season.) The view once you get to the location is spectacular, and for the price of $85 a night, you can't beat it! The B&B overlooks Lake Arenal and has a wonderful view of the Volcano. It's located close enough to La Fortuna to take advantage of the main attractions around town, but then drive back to your own peaceful, secluded paradise. Agustin, the innkeeper, is very friendly and helpful. He made sure there were two cold beers in our mini fridge to welcome us when we got there. He had good insight on what to do and where to go if you were interested in more off-the-beaten path activities, which my boyfriend and I are. When we wanted to be typical tourists and take advantage of the hot springs around town, he recommended and made us a reservation at Eco Termales, a much less crowded hot spring that was perfect after a long day hiking. For the 3 nights we were there, we woke to a traditional delicious Costa Rican breakfast and strong smooth coffee. After our day out around Arenal, we'd return to soak in the hot tub and listen for the birds and howler monkeys. The rooms are clean and basic and everything we needed. A large shower I was nervous when I saw that there was no air conditioning, but on the first night realized it wasn't necessary because we were high enough on the mountain that the nights were quite cool. I can't recommend this place enough and would love to return on our next trip to Costa Rica.

      Viaggio a West di La Fortuna Arenal verso il lago, passato Tabacon Hot Springs Resort, a una "T" in mezzo alla strada in una piccola stazione di polizia. Girare Lt. (Sud) su strada sterrata e seguire le indicazioni molti a El Castillo e Linda Vista Steak House. La prossima "T", appena passato il Arenal Volcano National Park. turno Lt. (Ovest) all'altezza del cartello "nepente", proseguire fino ad attraversare il ponte sul fiume, quindi girare a Rt. ("Nepenthe") segno. Continua dopo l'ingresso Linda Vista fino a quando sulla sinistra si vede un altro segno "nepente", svoltare a tenente in cima alla collina fino ad arrivare a Nepenthe. La strada sterrata che conduce attraverso la giungla foresta pluviale, lungo il bordo del lago Arneal e lungo la base del vulcano Arenal.

      Seguire le indicazioni / mappe dall'aeroporto. Viaggerete verso nord attraverso San Ramon e varie altre piccole città fino ad arrivare a La Fortuna. Si consiglia vivamente una vettura 4 ruote motrici, sia di proprietà privata o in affitto. Gli ultimi 10 km da La Fortuna è una strada sterrata, e Nepenthe si trova in alto sopra El Castillo. Inoltre, non ci sono mezzi pubblici e taxi sono costosi e non conveniente per gli spostamenti per le varie attrazioni.
