B&B Vista Atenas

We stayed at the B&B Vista in June 2012. It was a ideallic location above Atenas. The room was clean, the food was delicous and the luxury of the grounds were amzingly beautiful. Jonathan and his staff took wonderful care of us and we were treated like family. His english was implecable and his recommendations about the area of things to do & see perfect for what we wanted. Would TOTALLY recommend this B&B to anyone!!

When visiting Costa Rica this B & B is a must stay !! Surrounded by beauty, this B & B offers great hospitality along with an amazing staff. The Innkeep Jonathan is not only knowledgable about Costa Rica but also a delight to talk to. The B & B owner Vera is also fantastic. Vera makes you feel like your family. I rarely write reviews, but I felt I needed to write one for this B&B. I recently brought a group of young people to this location for a brief cultural excursion. Jonathan (the manager) was amazing and went above and WAY beyond the call of duty to help us in any way he could. I know our group presented a few problems, but Jonathan always helped us with a positive attitude and a kind heart. From wonderful breakfast, to clean and comfortable rooms, to fantastic service, I highly recommend this B&B.

Vista Atenas is perched on the side of a mountain with an awesome view of much of Costa Rica's central valley. The property and rooms are attractive, clean and well maintained. Hot water was plentiful and the beds are firm and comfortable, Vera and Jonathan were friendly and informative. Breakfast was ample with good coffee, fruit, toast and eggs. We're planning to stay here again at the end of our trip.

We first spent time at Vista Atenas B&B in February of 2008 and loved it so much we went back in March of 2009. Vera, the owner and Jonathan, the manager are wonderful people and we have become very good friends, keeping in touch through email. We also enjoyed meeting a number of other people who go back to this place regularly. We highly recommend staying at this B&B, not only for the beautiful views and peacefulness, but also the warm hospitality. Marisa & Randie

The rooms are dinky, with poor mattresses. We had to ask for soap whihc they seemed to begrudge us and no shampoo was offered. The breakfast not particularily good and certainly not overly plentiful. The hosts were the most stand-offish B&B hosts I have ever had. They made no effort to get to know us or show any hospitality or graciousness.

I was very sorry to read how this client did not enjoy his stay in our place, i would have like him to tell us while he was here what he disliked so we could have had the chance to make his stay better and cozier. It`s always a shame when out of hundreds just one has something negative to say. To this client, my apologies and we`ll certainly try to improve our services like we always do, thank you.
