  • Le stagioni portano i propri colori unici 40 acri di Kelly Place. Oltre a red rock Canyon e vista sulle montagne spettacolari, gli alberi da frutta e zone con giardini benvenuto ai nostri visitatori con fiori di primavera, estate, autunno d'oro e frutta (a volte!) bianco d'inverno.
    Ci sono 7 camere in lodge, tutte dotate di letti queen e bagni in camera. Camera famiglia-dimensione ha anche 2 serie di letti a castello. Casetta di base e medio camere dispone di una serie di letti a castello.
    Adobe-stile lodge fu costruito nella metà-60 da pioniere horticulturist George Kelly come la sua casa di riposo. Kiva stile camini, una confortevole sala biblioteca e un cortile recintato impiantito offrono la perfetta l'impostazione per il relax e la chat sulla attività giornata di.
    La cabina deluxe dispone di un letto matrimoniale, daybed, trundle e un rollaway. Ha un camino a legna, un angolo cottura, un cortile recintato impiantito con grill firepit e carbone e un bagno completo con vasca idromassaggio. È perfetto per un romantico weekend o un soggiorno prolungato.
    La vista della vicina montagna di Ute Sleeping dal cortile lodge è un costante richiamo la bellezza e la maestosità di nostra madre terra. Picco della montagna è quasi 10.000 ft. Kelly Place si trova nel Canyon McElmo ad un'altezza di 5,480 ft. Le temperature qui tendono ad essere circa 5 gradi più calde di Cortez.
    Le cabine di fronte/retro si trovano vicino all'ingresso di un piccolo canyon che offre accesso nel canyon del monumento nazionale antichi da Kelly Place.
    Esplorare le rovine di Puebloan ancestrale in loco con un tourbook Self-visite. Scendere in un kiva completamente restaurato e chiedo a coloro che hanno vissuto qui un migliaio di anni fa.
    Le cabine di fronte/retro 2 hanno anche un letto matrimoniale e bagno completo di ciascuno, più angolo cottura e una fantastica vista redrock scogliere.
    La camera deluxe lodge ha più spazio, più finestre e specchi più delle altre camere lodge. Dispone anche di un terrazzo coperto con vista sul cortile.

    The breakfast was Great! Everyday there was something different from blue corn pancakes to creative egg dishes. Staple items like homemade granola. The hosts were informative and interesting to talk to. The atmoshpere is peaceful, roomy and relaxing. Cool stuff to see. We'll be back. Mike b

    A nice surprise

    Our room #6 was very warm and we had difficulty cooling it down at night. However, it was very charming and clean. I loved the ambiance of the patio and we ate a delicious breakfast each morning on it. The surrounding landscape was beautiful and very serene particularly in the early morning. Marc was always full of ideas as to what one could visit in the area.

    We spent 4 nights at Kelly Place and it is never enough. Wonderful location in the canyon, adjacent to Canyon of the Ancients. We'll definitely stay there again.

    Very quiet and peaceful

    Kelly Place is situated in a very quiet and serene area of Cortez. My husband and son and daughter-in-law spent two nights in their two bedroom suite. Very nice room for two couples. You share a kitchen and living room which is very nice for visiting. Best part was the covered porch that had a BBQ grill (unfortunatley only the rotisserie part of the grill worked, so it took some creative cooking to grill the steaks!) Bet a very relaxing and beautiful location. We would definitely stay again.

    Room below average. Room smaller than anticipated. Cooling unit did not work properly. Bed and pillows were too firm. plates and glasses very cheap. Good things: Food was good and local Kiva was exceptional.

    Although the room and service was a little disappointing, the Kelly Place is still an unusual and lovely spot. Hiking trails behind the house and interesting visitors made our stay interesting. Some rooms way better, too.

    Rejuvenate and relax -who needs a spa day!

    I've visited Kelly Place several times over the past few years, and I have already made reservations for next spring. It is a destination in and of itself, very serene, spiritual and rich with history, there's no limit of things to discover. If you are accustomed to more posh accomodations, then spend the extra and get one of the cabins, especially the deluxe cabin which is set apart with it's own patio and very spacious. It's great to have one of the rooms with a kitchenette if you are staying awhile and don't want to go to Cortez for dinner everyday. If you are looking for a comfortable place to rest and don't need the "extras," the lodge rooms are great! So here is the reason to visit - explore! First check out the self guided tour - the kiva's are incredible - and watch your step so you don't break any potsherds. Then hike into the Canyons of the Ancients to discover ruins one after another, then hike Sand Canyon (WOW!), then go to Hovenweep, then Mesa Verde if you still haven't had enough. But by then, you'll find the crowds at Mesa Verde to be kind of annoying. Anyway, once you come here, you will get it. Oh yeah, you get a really good breakfast too...
