Hooper Homestead Guest Quarters & Spa

I had a wonderful stay at Hooper's Homestead in May. The owner is a true pleasure and makes you feel very comfortable and at home. And I love sh leaves breakfast the night before so in the morning I can be on whatever schedule I want. Not too mention gives a great massage, as you can get spa treatments on site. They also have a great hot tub you can sit and enjoy under the stars. Also the local town of Central City has a lot to offer as far and history goes, great photo ops! I would stay again!

I am leaving Hooper Homestead/Blissful Spa and Retreat today a new woman. I came up for a chance to reconnect to myself and remember how wonderful I am, because I was lost. I am feeling better than I have in 13 years. When I first got here and met Christine it was very quiet and I worried that it was a one man show. Well guess what it is and she is completely competent and professional at all the practices and spa treatments I had. That was detoxing, facial, massage, Transformational Session, and my favorite Raindrop Therapy. Christine runs a clean and professional B&B. It is cozy and accommodating! I recommend this retreat, spa, B&B, whatever it is you are looking for.

I was here May 2nd through May 20th. This is such a wonderful place for relaxing, meditating, healing, rejuvenating and finding yourself again in a quiet non-judgmental atmosphere. I stayed in the Hidden Treasure suite which was a comfortable one-bedroom suite with a private ground-floor entrance and private bath. The suite was spacious, beautifully decorated and was complemented with a great mini-kitchen. My time there will be forever remembered as a life changing experience for me. Christine (My Wellness Coach & owner) is truly amazing. Her experience & knowledge in nutrition, yoga, meditation, cooking classes, grocery shopping and the spa services were truly unbelievable and so amazing. The food and juices Christine made & shared with me daily was unbelievably scrumptious. I'm already at home trying out some of the unbelievable recipes she shared with me & I must say that my family loves them. I want to let you know that I arrived in a very unhealthy, over-medicated state and could barely walk from the bed to the restroom. But I left the healing retreat after 19 days, feeling like my old self again... Able to do more than I ever thought I could do upon arriving at the retreat. Christine is so patient and caring, and took so much time to answer all my questions. She is inspiring, motivating, nurturing, passionate, and energetic.

we stayed for 2 nights for our anniversary, and took advantage of almost all of the spa treatments. christine was amazing, sweet lady and was super helpful. her teacher leslie is an amazing massage therapist and would reccomend this place to anyone, anytime! thank you for such a wonderful 10th anniversary.

Our stay here was very comfortable, cozy and quite. The Hooper Homestead was a short distance from Central City, but far enough away that we could imagine we were no where near a gambling town. Christine is an exemplary hostess who loves having guests and it shows. We felt at home from the moment we arrived.

Hooper Homestead was a very peacefully relaxing getaway. The room was very clean and the amenities were wonderful. The massage, yoga and healing sessions were a great experience. My visit here has been the best 2 days of rejuvenation I have had in a long time!

Beautiful mountain getaway to enjoy the peace ad quiet, all that nature has to offer,with central city and blackhawk minutes away! Perfect for a romantic weekend!

My friend and I decided we needed a girls weekend getaway and Hooper Homestead ended up being an excellent choice. It was walking distance to town and a quick drive to hiking and horseback riding which was so much fun. It was very peaceful and relaxing and the spa treatments were wonderful because you were right there and ready to hit the hot tub afterwords if you wanted to. The breakfast choices were incredible and the organic muffins hit the spot as we sat outside in the morning enjoying the sun. This was definitley a place we will come back to when we need a quick and easy weekend getaway from Denver.

After completing the Healing Life Retreat with Christine at the Hooper Homestead, Central City, CO I feel like a new person, transformed, whole and free. I am uplifted refreshed with new energy and a new outlook on Life. Thank You Christine!

We only stayed one night, but we loved the house. It was very clean and well put together. It has everything you need including wi-fi. Breakfast was included which was wonderful. It was fresh foods and juice that was mostly organic. Very filling and healthy. The caretaker was very nice and helpful. This is a great place to stay if you are going to spend time in Central City or Black Hawk. We will definately be staying here again.

We had a spacious room, an apartment really, decorated with impeccable taste. It was remote from the bustle of Central City but just a short walk away. And my wife came back from her massage with a dreamy look that I haven’t see since we were kids. -Dick, Port Angeles, WA

This was the perfect getaway spot! Relaxing with the comfort of home just a few blocks from the casinos. I would highly recommend Hooper Homestead to anyone looking to spend a night or two in Central City.

The bed and breakfast is a relaxing and quaint place to get away from it all. The property is well maintained by Christine, the owner, and she makes you feel right at home. I would recommend this b and b for anyone looking for a unique and special getaway.

In our Colorado journeys, we anchored ourselves for 6 nights at Hooper Homestead Blissful Spirit & Spa! It felt like we left the 21st century and stepped back in time to a place that brought old fashion peace and tranquility. We walked up the steps to our suite that was nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the majestic mountains. The sounds of nature reminded us of how fortunate we were to experience such a slice of nice! It was not only beautiful but it was a great place to escape away too. It was like our very own tree house that no one would ever find us in. It was far enough away from reality yet close enough to the public places if we choose to venture out of our blissful bungalow. Organic freshly cut fruit, fresh moist muffins, tasty scones, and fresh juice greeted us every morning. There were hidden treasures throughout the week; we left with a heart full of love, and the knowledge of a solitary soul’s depth, that no words can portray. If you need an amazing cleansing and clarifying experience, I recommend the raindrop therapy. Central City was full of the most kind and generous people we ever came across in our two week Colorado journey. We enjoyed the laughs at the backyard bonfire to the company at the local pubs. The nature trails were like walking in God’s backyard. The feeling of gratefulness overcame all vibrations of the soul to be so fortunate to get eagle’s eye view of the splendid backdrop. The experience will be forever in our hearts and we will relive it for years to come thanks to our digital camera! Thank you Christine for the wonderful hospitality and priceless memories!
