"Early August Stay... Far too Brief!"

"I was in Victoria for a professional convention and was looking for accommodation other than a cookie cutter hotel room. I found Marketa's on-line and was entertained by the presentation on her website and was happy to find the location of her Bed & Breakfast was close enough to the Victoria Convention Centre for me to investigate further. The variety of rooms was excellent and the room rates were more than reasonable. My room was spotless and comfortable. While I was unable to enjoy the breakfast part of Marketa's, because of my schedule, I did enjoy the aroma of fresh baking and cooking on my way out every morning. Marketa's is a very pleasant, 10 minute neighborhood walk to the Legislature Buildings and Inner Harbour and the rest of the attractions and shopping offered in Victoria. It was a wonderful refuge after each day of presentations and workshops. I hope to return to stay at Marketa's on my next trip to Victoria. Marketa and her staff have created a very comfortable and genuinely friendly atmosphere that would be hard to beat by any other accommodation anywhere.
