"I was more than positively surprised when I arrived at Il Nido dei Guz. My room was tiny but for me it was important that it was clean and bright. I had my own toilet, which was also clean and there was nothing I could complain about. The breakfast was nice, and I noticed that the landlady trys her best to please her guests...she would serve cornflakes, juice, milk, coffee, toast with butter and marmalade/nutella, and she would always surprise me with some home made cookies or cakes-exactly like home!!! I have to accentuate that I enjoyed these breakfasts especially because I would talk to my landlady in both Italian and English and this experience is what counts, I really felt comfortable but at the same time I had a feeling that I am in Italy, learning something new about their culture every day...Ms Tecla is extremely enthusiastic about her job and that is what makes this B&B so outstanding, I would say. She was super nice to offer me soups when I would come home late after hard work and I really appeciated it. Also her husband showed me the neighbourhood first day, gave me the maps, explain how to reach my workplace, downtown etc. They were so patient and kind. Their treatment of the guests is the best side of this B&B. Whenever I would need something they were happy to help, and at the end of my stay I felt sad to leave as this was such a nice experience, they made my stay in Turin so lovely. Location was good, I had a direct bus to both my work and downtown, and you reach Porta Nuova in 20min bus ride. I had my privacy but whenever I was in for a nice chat or I needed some information about the town or I needed any assistance,both Ms Tecla and her husband were ready to help. If I visit Turin any time soon, I am sure I have a home there:) Would highly recommend this place to everyone who travels with the idea to come back home richer for one amazing experience...Inkeepers of this B&B really know how to do their job and I would opt for this place again.
