"Heaven on Earth"

"I just spent two glorious days with my husband at the Lodgecliff B&B. We both agreed that it was our favorite Bed & Breakfast that we ever visited. The location was a little off the beaten path (which we liked) and the view of the river from the back yard was just breathtaking. We watched the sun set over the Choptank two nights in a row and nothing could have been prettier or more relaxing. We spent our evenings watching the Ospreys feed their chicks on the pier adjacent to the property and as the sun went down were treated to an amazing display by the fireflies. I even spotted a river otter at the base of the steps leading to the river. The room was immaculate and very nicely appointed - not overly lacey or chintzy. The breakfasts were among the best I've ever eaten. Everything was homemade and made fresh that day. Our hosts Autumn and Katherine were very welcoming and accommodating, but also knew how to disappear and let us enjoy the tranquility of the place on our own terms. It was truly magical."
