Adobe on Green Street

This must be the sweetest place ever. What a dream: sunny, lush gardens surround, hummingbirds visit, fountains gurgle in the background. Nothing but rave reviews to be found in the guest comment book. You do feel like you're in your own home, as the staff are nearly invisible! Breakfast is a treat and the well-supplied kitchen is all yours if you wish to cook dinner in, which we did. The library and lounge are perfect but the porch chairs in the sun beckon. Absolutely loved it here.

The Adobe on Green is one of the most charming Inn I ever stayed. It has its own magical charm, from the red cedar little road to the adorable parking next to a vegetable garden, from the peaceful and refined rooms to the exquisite pastel bathrooms, I don't think I have stayed in such a serene and gentle place elsewhere. Completely magical, completely apart.

Bryon believes in impeccable service. Before the wish or thought pops into your head, he has thought of it. It was sometimes unnerving that someone could think of everything. Our cozy, tidy room was small, but we spent most of our time exploring santa cruz. You won't find a cleaner, almost an obsessive attention to detail then the Adobe. We would highly recommend to friends. A note--if you want to get chummy with the owner of bed and breakfasts, this is not the place for you. Bryon is behind the scenes and we never even ran into him. The Adobe prides itself on privacy, providing a quiet, peaceful haven not to be be overrated.

My wife and I took a 10 day trip down the California coast and stayed in 6 B&B's. For us it was a much-needed getaway to spend some quiet time together. this wonderful little place was by far our favorite stop. The understated decor and attention to detail made our stay very special. The relaxed atmosphere and dedication to comfort made our departure come too soon. Next time we go, we'll just hit the adobe and stay longer.

This is a wonderful hide away in a garden just above downtown Santa Cruz. We spent two days and never got in our car. Shops and restaraunts are just a few blcoks away. The place is perfectly appointed, ultra clean and very very comfortable. The beds are the best we've ever slept in. The innkeepers see that you have everything you need, but they are not intrusive. You feel like you have the place to yourself. Breakfast is simple, healthy, mostly organic, self serve. We loved it all!

This is a great B & B. It is very isolated, but in the middle of Santa Cruz. Room was excellent, clean, large and with a jacuzzi and fireplace. Very quiet location. Never saw the inkeeper, but everything was in order. Breakfast was a little weak, but everything else made up for it.
