    A wonderful experience

    We were celebrating my wife's birthday and spent one night there. Very friendly staff. They had even decorated the room for this occasion with balloons before our arrival. Totally a surprice to us!

    Beautiful Pacific Grove

    We were very pleasantly surprised that the Centrella honored their Bed and Breakfast.com hot deal rate of $79. for a one night stay on Valentine's Day. The staff also came through with a coupon for a free dessert at the restaurant we had chosen for dinner that night. The lovely old boarding house is nicely restored, great location, lovely gardens. Our only negative comment would be the lack of a fresh fruit course as part of breakfast, I ordered the yoghurt and berry parfait for breakfast off a menu with several choices. The berries were frozen, defrosted blueberries and blackberries. Bitter and disappointing. This is not the first B&B we've stayed at in California without fresh fruit, and it is incredulous that with the abundance of local fresh produce, that every B&B should be using fresh fruit with breakfast.

    This comfortable B&B is well located to the shore and dining in Pacific Grove. The building is historic and well restored. We looked forward to the breakfast menu each morning. Staff is very helpful.

    Beautiful old home

    Lovely old mansion converted to a B & B. Rooms are charming, as is the entire home. Food and service was good. Rates are very reasonable. The house, however is situated on a fairly busy thoroughfare. If you like to sleep with the windows open, the outside noise may be bothersome.

    Great weekend getaway

    The Centrella Inn was a peaceful retreat for our weekend getaway! The staff was wonderful and really helpful in terms of advice about the area and in generally being hospitable. The evening appetizers and wine were a wonderful and unexpected part of our stay. Breakfast was good - service was fantastic! - but the food was not fabulous! Overall, a wonderful inn we would recommend for value and hospitality.

    Centrella B&B

    My sister and I were on a "road trip" for a few days and stayed the last evening at the Centrella B&B. The staff was friendly and courteous, offering us an upgrade to a cottage. The cottage was really very cozy, the rooms were of good size and comfortable. The tub/shower could use a soap dish or something to place soap/shampoo in while showering/bathing and also a bath mat for the tub. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the beautiful gardens and fountains. Breakfast was excellent and delicious. We both agreed that we would like to return to the B&B for a stay with our husbands. "
