    relaxing home from home

    Stayed in the self-catering cottage and the main house. Both experiences were wonderful. The cottage is set up so two families can have their own spaces while sharing the well-appointed kitchen and comfy sitting room with fireplace. The main house has many thoughtful touches, a music room with player piano, a quiet library, a pool room (aka war room with interesting military memorabilia) and a large dining room with patio attached for use on warmer mornings. There is also a ranch house for larger parties. Yosemite Rose is part of a working ranch and the whole family is involved in aspects of the business. Katherine and Donald are wonderful hosts, as are the rest of the family. The location is perfect for Yosemite and Hetch Hetchy.

    Yosemite Rose B&B Getaway

    We stayed at the Yosemite Rose B&B recently and had a wonderful time. The rooms are superb and the breakfasts were wonderful. The owners were a very nice couple. We especially enjoyed talking with their daughter, Mary. She gave us some new places to visit that we didn't know about and we thoroughly enjoyed the day she planned for us. We were just discussing what we thought the highlights of our trip were and the Yosemite National Park and the B&B were #1 for us. We will definitely stay there again if we get to that part of the country again.

    We stayed two nights and were greatly impressed with the Yosemite Rose B&B. The location is close to Yosemite, which is why we chose it. Service was very good and the breakfast meals were excellent. We plan to return and have recommended it to our friends.
