    Nothing to complain about at the Grateful Bed. Rick and Carol are gracious hosts, excellent cooks and keep their inn spotless. It's a pleasure to return year after year.

    Weekend In April 2013

    On a last minute visit with our son who is at the college, we were lucky enough to find The Grateful Bed on line. We arrived and were warmly greeted by Carol and Rick. Our room, Suite Dreams, was beautiful and we absolutely loved the huge bathroom and claw-foot tub. The breakfast was gourmet and the friendly conversation with Carol and Rick made it perfect! We will visit again...no doubt!!!

    Carol and Rick are the best!!! They always make me feel very comfortable. The room I always stay in is thyme. The decor bath and bed make u feel like u stepped back in time. Best breakfast and coffee !!

    This is one of the best Bed & Breakfasts ever, The accomodations are comfortable and spotless, The breakfast is gourmet. The inkeepers are wonderful. You'll love this place.

    I had the best breakfast EVER! What can I say, I loved my room, the bed was so comfy I slept like a log! Quiet neighborhood. Rick and Carol are such lovely people. You will not be disappointed. Love it, Love it, Love it!!!!!!!

    A lovely restored Victorian with quirky but functional plumbing, well decorated with nice retro style. the neighborhood is quiet in this central location, and the breakfast was fabulous. We will definitely stay here again!

    We had a wonderful weekend at the Grateful Bed in Chico, California. Comfortable bed, clan room and delicious breakfasts. We were converted from life long grapefruit haters to lovers after having Carol's broiled grapefruit. We will be going back. We highly recommend The Grateful Bed!
