"This was our 6th visit to Fire Mountain. Staying at Fire Mountain is always an amazing experience and the experience continues to evolve each year! For us, enjoying the ever evolving cuisine each year makes it all worthwhile. We would return each year just for the breakfasts! We always stay in Nantahala in the Inn because we love having breakfast on our private deck each morning as the sun is rising over the sunrise side of the mountain. The new sunset viewing deck between the main lodge of the Inn and the Gallery building was this years surprise and treat. Now we love enjoying the very expansive and long range sunset views from this new area as well as from many other spots on top of the mountain. Each year as we depart we become excited about returning for our next visit! We made our reservations for next year at check-out. The fall colors in the Highlands this year were fantastic! "
