"If you ever wondered how it'd be like to live in one of those hundreds years looking small Italian houses, then you'd have to stay at this place.. The place where we stayed was like a tiny apartment. We'd go up on a small red ladder to the bedroom loft. The whole idea was so new and interesting to us, and the bedroom section was very nice & clean. The owner was extremely friendly! This town (Rocchetta Nervina) is really, really beautiful and it has a gorgeous hiking trail in the canyon. We found this place just on our way from one destination to another, but this town actually became one of our favorite memories in this entire trip. It was especially nice b/c we were a little tired from other cities that were too touristic and no real Italian experiences. Just a couple of things to note: The owner writes very good English in the emails, but in person, we had to communicate in French; The breakfast at this place is different from other B&Bs. It's a breakfast basket with pre-packaged breads and yogurts etc. It's full of goodies like snack bags etc, but if you want fresh breads and cappuccino, that's not in this basket. "
