"This B&B is in a very convenient location for exploring Amsterdam, either on foot or using public transportation. The canal neighbourhood is charming and quiet, and there are good restaurants, including excellent take-away pizza and a supermarket, just a few minutes away. The room itself is spacious and naturally extends into a small, but pleasant garden. The bed is large and comfortable and the amenities of the shower and bathroom exceed all expectations. There is also plenty of storage space. While contact with the family who run the B&B is limited, they provide fresh, home-baked bread in the morning and are happy to replenish the other breakfast foods, such as ham, cheese, juice and yoghurt, upon request. There is plenty of "real" coffee and tea on hand, too. The plates, glasses and cutlery needed for easy dining--including a sommelier-style corkscrew--are provided.
