    Bed and Breakfast in tranquilla Gelivaux, una piccola frazione di Olne, 17 km di Liegi e Spa, tra i campi e frutteti della "Terra di Herve" e la verde vallata del Vesdre. "Aux quatre Bonniers" è una fattoria ristrutturata con 2 largesuites e una camera per gli ospiti (max 7 persone). Ogni camera ha un bagno separato e tv e WIFI. Ogni suite dispone di una sauna privata. Proprio tra Liegi, Aquisgrana, Maastricht e Spa (Francorchamps!) e mezz'ora di Bastogne!

    A wonderful time passing through the Belgian countryside

    We stayed here for two nights in July 2011, on our way to and from France. The scenery and the location is faboulous, an so quiet! Perfect for a romantic escape. Unfortynately we had bad luck with the weather, but sitting on the "inside" deck while the rain poured down, listening to the squeeks of the toads and reading books from the common selections of travel books, Tintin and other magazines was quite cosy. Despite our late arrival, Katleen came to greet us and brought us welcome drinks. We stayed in the Alexandre Dumas room and it was very nice, calm with a view over the small yard. There is a window from floor to roof, not shown in the images of the room - so it is not as dark :) Couch and TV, small welcome snack, water and cloth hanger. Ensuite shower and toilet. There is also an ensuite sauna that can be used for a fee, but we did not. Breakfast was home made and Katleen presented all the different breads pastries and jams herself. When we were full, we were encouraged ta bring the whatever breakfast was left on wherever we were going. Both Katleen and her husband were very friendly and easy to talk to. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, friendly and quiet getaway!

    Lovely country inn

    My sons and I spent two nights at this lovely B&B out in the country. Katleen and Kris were wonderful hosts! Their english was excellent and apparently they enjoyed practicing it with us. We had the entire place - all 3 levels - to ourselves and enjoyed a peaceful getaway. Prior to our arrival and during our stay, Katleen was so helpful in giving us advice and directions on what to see and how to get there. I had some ideas of what I wanted, but because of the time of year and many places being closed, it was difficult to plan. She assisted me and came up with fantastic itineraries. The breakfasts were wonderful with many homemade items from the region and her kitchen! Beds were comfortable and additional heaters were provided, since it was cool. Absolutely recommend a visit to Aux Quatre Bonniers!!!
