We stayed 2 nights at the lodge and were the only guests. Enjoyed the very quiet, peacefull garden early in the morning with lots of humming birds coming for a drink. The room "Fiesta" was great for our stay and was clean and confy. Thanks a lot Beat & Kathy PS No Dining, but breakfeast

My partner and I recently stayed at Cat Mountain B&B on our first trip to Tucson. The room itself was one of the cleanest and most comfortable you could ask for. We stayed in the Ranch Room, which was decorated in an Old West theme with Mexican rugs, and blankets. The room has a very nice bath and a sitting area in front of the television. Angel is a very cordial and considerate hostess who went out of her way to find a camera shop at our next destination so that we could get our camera repaired. She maintains several environmentally green policies at the B&B which is important to us, and was very helpful in offering suggestions for local shops. In addition, Coyote Pause, the on-site cafe, has consistently wonderful food, which we received daily vouchers for. Who could ask for more?? We'll definitely stay here whenever we're in the Tucson area.

I had the pleasure of staying at Cat Mountain Lodge for my vacation to Tucson this past October. The four guestroom stucco Hacienda-style Lodge is unassumingly gorgeous. Small surprises continually greet you as you walk the immediate grounds: like the relief painting of hummingbirds and mice on a vine around the gate. The warm and welcoming courtyard is in bloom year-round. Each room has a double glass French door: mine looked out onto a fountain which I enjoyed listening to in the evening. My room had a private bathroom with a luxuriously tiled tub, and each room has its own hot water heater. A small closet with several hangers has a mini-fridge, but no microwave. The four rooms all have locking connecting doors. The Mission room where I stayed is spacious and meticulously clean, with lovely Indian rugs. A high ceiling and clean white walls add to the feeling of space, though curtains at the window would soften it. This room is decorated in a theme of the Spanish Catholic Missions, with an abundance of metal crosses hung on the walls. Other rooms are decorated with other themes. Breakfast is provided from the hearty full menu at the Coyote Pause Café on the property, just steps away. I got to know the friendly staff there and was treated like a “regular”. This review would not be complete without paying tribute to the lodge’s on-site manager and innkeeper, Angel Jackson-Slye. Angel is one-of-a-kind and exemplifies true hospitality. I’m sure the owner knows what a gem she has in Angel, and I hope that anyone who stays there will take some time to get to know her like I did. In summary, I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for a more quiet, out-of-the way location with the comforts of home and yet an authentic Southwestern setting. The rates are reasonable and the service is beyond compare.

My sister and I stayed at the Cat Mountain Lodge in Tucson. It was the best part of our trip. Angel was cheerfully accommodating. The room was beautiful. The atmosphere was perfect. We highly recommend the Cat Mountain Lodge.

We spent a great weekend here. The innkeepers were really gracious and the setting was phenomenal. We will be back soon. Oh, and they were wonderfully dog friendly, which means a lot to u.
